A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN HVAC Tech

As an HVAC Technician, you arrive each day ready to take on a number of duties from assisting customers with their HVAC needs to working with our the owner as you learn about all the equipment we service as a company. The Northern Team works on all types of HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, generators, pool heaters, boilers and related equipment.  

A successful HVAC techanican  must have the ability to function as a part of a team and be able to think creatively and critically. You can feel great accomplishment in these efforts that contribute to the success of our growing and essential HVAC business!

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma / Associate degree preferred but not required.
• Clean Driver’s License and acceptable background check.
• 2 or more years’ experience in the HVAC trade preferred but not required.
• Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours.
• Strong customer service skills plus excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level.
• Must pass random drug testing and background test.
• Understanding of the current regulations within the field.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• General knowledge of power tools and techniques for care and safe use.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

WORK SCHEDULE

Pay is competitive and based on experience. Hours are 40 hours per week.
