About this opportunity:
We are seeking a smart, organized and customer focused individual who will provide general administrative assistance to TV Sales Department, coordinate station sales promotions for the company’s portfolio of broadcast, digital and social media platforms and be an active participant in the sales and marketing process.
What you’ll do:
- Execute promotional campaigns on behalf of clients and the station
- Facilitate inter-office communications to ensure all promotions media assets and campaigns are delivered successfully for clients
- Provide general administrative assistance to General Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager, Account Executives, Finance and Human Resources
- Partner and strategize with Account Executives to create original, unique and professional presentations
- Create compelling recaps for all media campaigns, air checks, screen shots and video recaps
- Act as the primary backup for National Sales Assistant and Digital Sales Specialist
- Communicate professionally with Account Executives and clients daily as a solutions provider
- Order entry for TV GSM, LSM, NSM and Account Executives for digital and traditional (Wide Orbit) orders
- Maintain various spreadsheets, calendars and reports for TV Sales Department
- Assist Human Resources with various tasks including job postings, resumes tracking, assembling new hire/benefit packets, etc.
What you’ll bring:
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS Windows applications
- Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator proficiency preferred
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
- Superior time and project management skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks for many people
- Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
- Maintain a positive disposition when communicating with members of all departments, customers, viewers and outside vendors
- Exceptional organizational skills and proven accuracy in work

Assist and support the Programming and Sales departments by helping to coordinate and manage prizes, contests, and events. Assist with the daily operations of the radio promotions and events department.
