Pay range:  The compensation range for this role is $45,000/year - $150,000/year which includes a beginning guarantee + supplemental pay including commission. Beginning guarantee is $45,000/year-$72,000/year depending upon experience. Earned commissions, ranging from 5% to 20% net, based on the product sold, are paid when the 12-month guarantee is exceeded, or are the complete basis of compensation after 12 months.  Commissions are paid on a monthly basis as earned.  We also offer a $50/month cell phone allowance.

What you’ll do: 

You’ll be a part of our morning news team, with the most experienced anchor team and reporters and producers who love what we do and why we do it. We’ll teach you how to operate LiveU equipment and also how to turn an interview and some b-roll into compelling news content to air on TV and digital platforms. You’ll be up before the sun, but also have your afternoons, evenings and weekends free to explore all that the Inland Northwest has to offer. Your voice will matter in making daily decisions about news coverage and creative ways to tell stories.  

What you’ll bring: 

A 4-year degree and/or equivalent work experience is preferred, but we’re ready to train you if you’re eager and excited to do the job. It’s great if you have basic knowledge of broadcast quality camera equipment and some editing experience. You’ll need to be an early riser and dependable worker who is also self-motivated and able to work in a deadline-driven environment.
