Our experienced Business Development team prospects great local businesses and organizations that need to grow every day around our community, and we need YOU to take what they found and turn it into full-funnel marketing magic that will get them results they can see. Your role will be client-facing and team-driven. You will utilize many great local broadcast, streaming, and interactive options alongside enhanced digital options to really make our campaigns not only generate results, but market-leading! The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit who works with a sense of urgency and passion and thrives in a constantly evolving world of marketing & advertising. This is an ideal role for a tech-enthusiast that can create, but also explain, influence, and sell their vision for a project or campaign to help earn business and solidify confidence and trust from our clients that we will help them achieve growth.

Your Experience should include:

• Ability to use software in the Adobe suite, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro; plus, Microsoft 365 (Office) suite.
• Website design and/or CMS editing. Experience with WordPress platforms is a plus.
• Using and creating marketing materials for events, media, websites, and social media platforms.
• A mastery of current trends and available tactics in digital marketing.
• A college degree program focused on digital marketing, marketing, sales, business or similar is preferred, but not required.
• CRM experience with HubSpot or other comparable service

            A Well-Qualified, Experienced Candidate Will Have:

• Experience selling, or planning, and executing tactics such as: radio, video/OTT/CTV/YouTube, Email Marketing, SEO, SEM, PPC, Targeted Display, Geofence Display, Landing Pages, social media, Streaming Audio Advertising, etc.
• Project Management background organizing and managing deadlines and stakeholders.
• Data-driven campaign management.

Job Details:          A Business Development Specialist spends 75-85% their time building relationships with members of the local business community to make them aware of the suite of marketing services Mid-West Family has available to help the business grow both awareness and revenue.  This career is about shaking hands, building trust, and transitioning the local business owner to work directly with our Marketing Success Teams.

                              Require:  Superior relationship skills, excellent listening skills, computer skills, ability to work alone as well as in a team setting, digital and social acumen required, ability to drive for work, and ability to work remotely without direct oversight.

                              Prefer:  Experience developing and selling marketing ideas and concepts, creative right brain thinking.

                              The ability to be a self-starter without direct oversight.

                              High problem-solving skills.

                              Represent and communicate the Mid-West Family suite of products and services.

                              Quantify the wants and needs of the local business owner swiftly.

                              Handle all aspects of the relationship with the local business owner.

                              Have a high level of business aptitude, and have the capacity to talk about money (either to learn about the business, determine budget, or ask for the agreement and collect when necessary)

                              Strong oral and written communication skills.

                              Valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to perform work duties.

                              Well-groomed and dress professionally.

Compensation:    Full-Time range between $60,000-$100,000 in year one but could be higher based on prior experience.
