Ark-La-Tex Fertility and Reproductive Medicine, a Tri-State leader in Proactive and Innovative Fertility Care, is looking to fill a clinical medical assistant position with our facility. The position is M-F, with rotating weekends and holidays, work hours vary. Eligible for three weeks’ paid vacation after the first year of service, continuing education provided. - Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a team player
- Must have or be able to acquire BLS certifications
- Flexibility with schedule a plus
- Be willing to learn and receptive of directives
- Must pass background check and drug test
Job duties/skills required:
- Assist physician with patient exams, ultrasounds, and sterile procedures.
- Phlebotomy skills are a plus, but not necessary, we will train
- Provide patient education
- Proficient with patient intakes/patient assessment
- Working knowledge of insurance pre-certification, benefits and eligibility
- Basic clinical and clerical skills
