Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Help Desk Specialist I. Primary Function: provide first-line support for HVCU staff with network, system, and desktop issues. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and log problems. Resolve, track and follow up on all Help Desk calls and tickets.
Responsibilities
- Answer employee phone calls to Help Desk and resolve complaints/issues in a timely manner. If needed, accurately refer the user to other departments and/or published procedures for assistance.
- Collect data and perform initial diagnosis of reported issues. When possible, resolve end user’s problems using applications, hardware, software and the HVCU network.
- Log incoming trouble tickets into the Help Desk ticketing system. Prioritize and categorize open trouble tickets and, when necessary, escalate the outstanding problem to Applications/Programming support, Systems/Network/Desktop support, or IT management.
- Monitor and update progress of open trouble tickets.
- Maintain HELP email to further assist users with direct issues. Maintain open line of conversation with departments to ensure all tickets, requests, and emails are being handled in a timely fashion.
- Monitor HVCU ATM performance. Manage employee maintenance/access, including initial equipment setup.. Maintain and audit user access across HVCU systems handled by Help Desk.
- Perform required nightly processes prior to departure.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

- Provide internal and external member service by responding to calls in all in-bound queues related to product information, account details, loan applications, establishing new accounts for existing members, etc. Conduct outbound calls as directed. Primary function: The Risk Mitgation Intern will work with the Risk team under the areas of Fraud and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
Program Length: Early June - Mid August

- Investigate alerts or notifications produced within fraud analytics software, and other daily reports, related to potential misuse or abuse of products and services such as account and deposit fraud, wire fraud, loan fraud and identity theft.
- Track fraud losses and trends and maintain related logs or cases within the fraud analytics software and core system.
- Assist in monitoring financial transactions performed by or through HVCU to detect those that involve any entity or person subject to the OFAC laws and regulations, and the review of 314(a) requests in conjunction with the USA Patriot Act.

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Executive Administrative Assistant. Primary Function: Provide comprehensive, high-level administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency in their roles. Manage schedules, correspondence, and coordination of meetings and travel arrangements. Handle highly sensitive financial and strategic information with confidentiality, prioritizing tasks, and facilitating communication both internally and externally. Responsible for streamlining processes, anticipating needs, and proactively address issues to ensure operations run efficiently and executives' priorities are met.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer, anticipating needs and proactively handling logistical and administrative tasks. This role further supports their teams as needed.
- Manage complex calendars by scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference calls. Prepare Executives for meetings, ensuring that they are briefed with applicable materials and information required
- Screen and prioritize communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail. Assist with redirecting members, staff, and vendors to the appropriate functional area of responsibility.
- Compile various complex reports and presentations, researching and/or working with various business units to gather information, consolidate, and prepare in final format for approval.
- Act as a liaison between Executives and internal/external stakeholders.
- Attend meetings, occasionally acting as a proxy for the Executives, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Maintain confidential files and records with discretion and integrity.
- Organize small and large-scale corporate events.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
- Provide back-up support to Senior Administrate Assistants and Executive Assistant and appropriate department coverage..
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. - Experience in supporting financial processes, project teams, and merger and acquisitions is preferred.
