DeSauw was founded in 1992 at Fulton, Missouri. From the beginning, our product evolved from the ever popular DePauw component saw manufactured in the 1970's. With the help of Art DePauw himself, we were able to continue the tradition of a well-made piece of equipment. We have built quality saws for the past 30+ years. We manufacture a variety of saws from simple push-button operation to top-of-the-line servo driven automated saws. Automation Assembler Job Summary
Our manufacturing company is looking for a mechanical minded assembler/mechanic to work in our machine assembly department. In this position, you will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct our highly automated machinery. You must be able to read blueprints, know how to use a variety of hand and power tools, and have a working knowledge of a wide range of mechanical components such as chains gearboxes, sprockets and motors. We prefer candidates who have mechanical assembly experience, but we are willing to train the right person.
Automation/Mechanical Assembler Duties and Responsibilities

• Read the schematics for your machine component
• Assemble your component
• Work with other assemblers to create a final product
• Test and inspect components for uniformity and quality
• Log your productivity

Automation/Mechanical Assembler Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical school
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience working with large machinery
• Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
• Able to read blueprints

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
