Insurance Customer Service Representative

This is a full-time position with a well-branded jewelry insurer specializing in personal jewelry coverage. You will be working with a small group of associates in JIBNA's office, which is centrally located in Louisville. Free parking is available to all employees. No selling is required in this position.

We are looking for an energetic, outgoing and dependable individual to:

  • Answer telephone calls and handle phone inquiries, including taking payment information from customers and agents.
  • Sort and distribute incoming email and provide status updates as needed.
  • Perform office tasks in support of all departments.
  • Work independently in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality of information.

Skills required:

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Clear communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Efficient time management and organization skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and take direction with minimal supervision

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years related experience
  • Property & Casualty license a plus, but not required
  • Insurance Customer Service experience preferred, but not required
  • Verifiable work references required
