Bookkeeper

Job Title: Construction Bookkeeper / Office Manager

Location: Salt Point, NY

Type: Temporary to Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Compensation: $25-$30 per hour

Are you an experienced bookkeeper with a knack for managing construction-related finances? Do you excel in utilizing QuickBooks and thrive in a dynamic office environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Construction Bookkeeper / Office Manager Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction-related bookkeeping roles.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
  • Familiarity with ADP payroll system is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Construction Bookkeeper / Office Manager Responsibilities:

  • Utilize QuickBooks to generate invoices, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate posting of the general ledger.
  • Enter payroll information into ADP system.
  • Prepare and submit certified payrolls for prevailing wage projects.
  • Perform additional clerical duties as assigned to support office operations.
