Magnum Contracting is looking for a shop hand/mechanic.

Position involves a wide variety of responsibilities from general shop clean up, parts running, filling fuel tanks, general vehicle, equipment, and tool repairs, oil changes, maintance and more.  The diversity of the responsibilities, help keep  excitement throughout the day.

We are interested in someone without shop or mechanic experience. We will provide an on the job styl training program.

Work Schedule: M-Tr 7:30am to 5pm  Fri 7:30am to 2:30pm

General Shop Duties Include Things Like: 

• Cleaning and organizing the shop.
• Running parts, fuel, and equipment to various jobsites.
• Oil Changes
• Individuals with Mechanic Experience Duties Include
• Oversees all shop related duties, operations, and activities. 
• Documents and maintains accurate inventory control records of consumables, supplies, tools, and equipment needed for work crews.
• Logs and maintains database of tools and/ or equipment hours, miles, repairs, and maintenance.
• May assist with tool and equipment dispatch to tool/equipment location.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment documents including permits, DMV registration and current insurance certificates.
• Examines and inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are well maintained and functional.
• Ensures all tools and equipment are properly stored in designated areas.
• Determines if non-functioning tools or equipment can be repaired in-house, if repair needs to be outsourced, or if replacement is necessary.
• Coordinates, performs, assists with routine and scheduled maintenance services on equipment, machines, and tools.
