Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Branch Manager. Primary Function: Responsible for the engagement and development of branch staff to drive new member acquisition, both business and personal, and promote consultative, needs based selling to create and deepen member relationships and retain existing members. Responsible for branch profitability, for branch and corporate goal attainment and for oversight of branch operations.

• Responsible for the engagement and development of branch staff to drive branch goal attainment and ensure high quality service to members through successful implementation of our consultative, needs based selling approach.
• Conduct business development activities in the branch market. This includes proactive outreach to existing members, prospects and COIs and attending community functions and events of other local businesses to build relationships and create HVCU brand awareness in the community.
• Monitor branch goals and objectives daily. Meet weekly with branch management team to discuss current sales coaching and development activities and develop tactics to increase branch results. Provide weekly results report to Region Manager. 
• Create an environment of accountability. Set clear expectations, goals and objectives to drive results and provide consistent coaching and development to branch staff.
• Ensure branch staff is trained on processes and product knowledge, cross selling credit union products and services, automated transaction services, marketing programs, and referring members to branch business partners for expert advice.
• Meet at least monthly with direct report and semi-annually with all branch staff to obtain employee feedback and provide performance feedback and career-pathing to branch employees.  Complete annual performance evaluation for Assistant Branch Manager.
• Support marketing programs to drive branch growth.
• Oversee all aspects of branch operations including completion of branch audits and security checks, and regulatory compliance.
• Responsible for branch profitability and efficiency.  Identify opportunities to enhance revenue and improve service to members by eliminating waste and reducing expenses with efficient processes and high quality output. Create the branch budget and monitor expenditures and variances.
• Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Commercial Lending Specialist. Primary function: Provide support to Commercial Lending Operations, including preparation of department reports and maintenance of department databases and portfolio management systems; as well as the third party due diligence process. Assist with processing commercial credit requests. Provide support to internal and external member requests. Provide service support to internal and external member requests. Provide assistance for commercial loan processing and quality control functions, as needed.

• Track, monitor and provide regular updates on the third party due diligence process, specifically commercial appraisal and environmental reports.  To include obtaining quotes, ordering, collecting funds and processing payments for commercial appraisal and environmental reports and reviews.
• Prepare and regularly update required Commercial Lending department, management and Board reports.  To include watch list, portfolio, exception, SBA, UCC expiration and various other monthly or quarterly reports.
• Coordinate the timely distribution of HVCU Business Loan Committee packages as well as preparing minutes for these meetings with minimal edits required from management.  Schedule various other department meetings and take minutes for these meetings.  Prepare memos and supporting documents for meetings, as needed.
• Provide support to Commercial Lending staff, including preparation of pre-closing worksheets, filing all post approval documentation for all commercial loans, tracking documents out for recording and maintaining current information for the commercial loan portfolio
• Maintain complete and accurate commercial credit files as well as assisting with gathering and providing information during exams and audits. To include maintaining and updating participation loan files and participation due diligence documents.  Prepare various letters to members and follow up with Commercial Lending staff and members, as needed.
• Reconcile GL accounts and process invoices and checks received for various commercial lending functions.  Ensure vendor management system is updated and maintained by collecting required due diligence information from vendors and submitting to the appropriate area/system.
• Maintain and update department procedures. To include tracking of procedure updates and changes.
• Have a general understanding of commercial loan terminology and commercial loan ratios including debt-to income ratio, debt service coverage ratio, and loan to value ratio.
• Assist with the maintenance of all commercial loans on the loan origination/servicing system, and submit service requests, as needed.
• Provide administrative support for department supplies and software. Provide backup coverage for commercial loan processing and quality control functions, as needed.

• Assist with loan structure and mentoring of other credit staff, on an as needed basis.
• Complete commercial credit analyses within specified deadlines.
• Maintain the Credit Union’s commercial loan portfolio by performing annual reviews, renewals, extensions and modifications on existing borrowing relationships.
• Respond to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other HVCU personnel, members, etc. within given timeframes and within established policy.
• Achieve goals assigned to the Credit Analyst II as part of the departments’ annual operating plan. To include initiating and implementing process improvements to enhance member experience and increase department efficiencies.
