Per Diem (As Needed) Shift
As a Respite Worker for the Permanency Resource Center, you will provide respite services to youth in adoptive, guardianship and kinship families. Respite may also be available to families as part of the service plan and can occur at parent support groups or other PRC events and will be designed to be consistent with the children's needs and interests. Outings or activities with individual youth will be coordinated with the supervisor and parent. Respite provided as part of a group activity at a support group will be designed to allow parents the opportunity to have time separate from their children while they attend a support group. You will report to the Case Manager Supervisor or designated supervisor at the event. You will work onsite with youth in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision for youth while parents attend support group.
- Provide respite as assigned to a youth as part of their service plan which can include activities in the community or in the youth’s home if that is the agreed upon plan.
- Participate in family engagement activities to provide added support to youth.
- Co-lead support groups for youth.
- Maintain records including required data collection information according to the program standards and expectations.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Sidney Albert Training and Research Institute (SATRI) provides curriculum design, development and training to internal professionals as well as those individuals served by external contracts executed by the Institute. These contracts may be with various departments within the State of New York, School Districts, Human Service Agencies or community based entities. As a Children's Health Home Care Manager, you will engage youth and families through outreach activities until enrollment into the Children's Health Home program. You will coordinate and monitor subsequent services to meet the needs of your members. You will report to a program supervisor, working in a hybrid model. Work will involve a combination of remote, office, and community-based settings. Local travel and personal transportation is required.
Responsibilities:
- Level I - Provides care management services to children with low and medium acuities. Care Manager will provide the required one or two services each month based on acuity and need. One of these contacts is to be in-person with the member.
- Level II - Provides care management services to low, medium, and high acuity members. Care Manager will provide a minimum of two services each month, one of which is to be in person with the member.
- Engage children, youth, and families with outreach and enrollment activities for successful enrollment into a children's health home
- Gather and complete assessments and enter documentation that confirms eligibility and acuity, identifying both strengths and areas of need
- Work w/children, youth, families, and service providers to create a comprehensive Plan of Care

As a Clinician, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team with the underserved populations in our community by providing clinical counseling to individuals, families and couples in an outpatient mental health clinic licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH). As a Clinician in the Intensive Aftercare Prevention (IAPP) program, you will provide six to nine months of intensive services to families whose children are either at risk of being removed from their homes or are already in placement. Lifeguard – Albany or Schenectady, NY
Starting rate is $20 per hour!Ideal seasonal position with flexible schedule from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend. Daytime and early evening hours on weekdays and/or weekends.

Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning, administering first aid

Hold students and staff accountable to the rules of the pool area and report any concerns with adherence of these rules to a Residential Supervisor
Work in other areas of the recreational department during inclement weather

Per Diem Clinician/Social Worker - Mobile Crisis
Location: Schenectady, NY or Queensbury, NY
Day, Evening, and Weekend Shifts available
As a Clinician for Mobile Crisis, you will provide crisis risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), crisis stabilization and interventions, de-escalation techniques and follow-up services to the identified client experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric crises. These interventions, provided by telephone and on-site mobile visits, will be implemented using a strength-based, trauma-informed, systems-oriented perspective and will include the development of crisis prevention and safety plans; follow-up to evaluate the effectiveness of plans; coordination of services with existing treatment providers; and linkage to additional community-based therapeutic resources and supports. You will directly report to the Clinical Site Supervisors with Director and Executive Program Director guidance and support. You will work on-site with travel to the community and individuals' homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide rapid response to adults, children, adolescents, and families, who are in crisis, experiencing an emotional or behavioral disturbance by phone and on-site within the community, and as assigned, participate in acute care emergency services rotation system designed to facilitate and strengthen community-based crisis intervention services. This includes rotation of schedule to provide coverage during holidays and weekends.
- Conduct risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), mental status examinations, and substance abuse screening.
