Job Summary | The International Exchange Specialist provides immigration advising and assistance for all J-1 visa holding visiting scholars and their dependents. The Specialist assists the Director with institutional compliance as related to the Exchange Visitors; including, reporting and monitoring data in the Student and Immigration Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and in Terra Dotta software. The Specialist is the point person for academic departments requesting visiting scholars and export control, in order to facilitate and streamline the processes for hosting international scholars. The Specialist provides regular information sessions for departments as well as assisting in the development of cultural programming as required by the US Department of State. |

Job Summary | The Program Administrator, Sr manages activities of the Center of Excellence in Digital Game Development at RPI, also known as the Digital Gaming Hub, administered through the Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. POSITION SUMMARY
The Sidney Albert Training and Research Institute (SATRI) provides curriculum design, development and training to internal professionals as well as those individuals served by external contracts executed by the Institute. These contracts may be with various departments within the State of New York, School Districts, Human Service Agencies or community based entities. This position is responsible to fulfill training for external training contracts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Deliver curricula including supporting educational materials as assigned.
- Design, develop, research, write curricula,
- Implement adult-professional training programs.
- Prepare all written reports, maintain records, and issue certificates of attendance.
- Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with Agency colleagues and engage in diversity, constructive communication both within and outside of the Agency.
- Assume training responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a Bachelors degree and at least two years of related experience. Masters degree in Human Service Field is preferred.
Experience required includes the following:
- Proven ability to design, develop, research, write curricula, and implement adult- professional training programs.
- Must have content knowledge, presentation skills, and knowledge sufficient to teach effectively on a variety of clinical subject areas, treatment and intervention, childhood development, child and adolescent behavioral disorders, management, supervision and leadership issues, and crisis and de-escalation techniques. Knowledge of OMH and OCFS Waiver preferred.
- Computer skills include PowerPoint, use of a virtual classroom, and various data management systems preferred.
- Teaching/training or public speaking experience required.
- Mental health and child welfare experience is preferred.
- Must have valid drivers license, vehicle available, and be able to travel as required.

Job Summary | The Assistant Director (AD) of Student Activities is responsible for planning, facilitating and assisting in the coordination of student club programs on campus. The incumbent will develop programs working with clubs and other campus departments focusing on diversity and inclusion, community involvement/engagement, student leadership and operations as an advocate for student clubs. The AD will work with the staff to develop opportunities for servant leadership growth and development. POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Residential Youth Counselor, you will provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and governing bodies' (DSS, OMH, JCAHO, etc.) requirements for elementary aged children.. You will work on-site on our Albany campus and will report to the Residential Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
1:1 Residential Counselor
Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food, cooking, medical care, and providing a reliable and nurturing environment.
You will follow an individual youth’s 1:1 expectations plan, ICMP, and any safety plans in place.
Engage the youth in activities and conversation that are age appropriate and at the appropriate developmental level.
Document in writing a summary of each shift.
Learn the history and specific issues associated with the youth who requires 1:1; will learn how to safely manage any crisis.
Transport 1:1 client for medical, mental health, and other essential needs.

You will must be able to work within trauma informed framework of program, including identifying and using coping/safety plans, maintaining consistency, providing regular routine, and controlling own response to youth.
Engage and form positive relationship with all youth served.
Complete all mandatory trainings according to programmatic guidelines.
Display basic competency in TCI techniques.
Follow outlined program routines, therapeutic plans of youth, and program rules and protocols.
Work as part of a team including colleague residential counselors, clinicians, on line oncall, supervisors, and other administrative and functional support staff.

VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF ANTHROPOLOGY
Union College (Schenectady, New York) seeks applicants for a one-year visiting position at the assistant professor level. We seek socio-cultural candidates who can teach courses on environmental anthropology and who would also be able to offer courses in some of the following areas: indigeneity, environmental justice, economic anthropology, Science and Technology Studies, Religion and Environmentalism, anthropology of food, and global health. In terms of geographic expertise we are interested in someone who works in Sub Saharan Africa, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia or amongst indigenous people of Oceania or the Americas. But we will consider other areas not currently represented by faculty in the department. Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $67,000 - $69,000.
