POSITION SUMMARY
The Sidney Albert Training and Research Institute (SATRI) provides curriculum design, development and training to internal professionals as well as those individuals served by external contracts executed by the Institute. These contracts may be with various departments within the State of New York, School Districts, Human Service Agencies or community based entities. This position is responsible to fulfill training for external training contracts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Deliver curricula including supporting educational materials as assigned.
- Design, develop, research, write curricula,
- Implement adult-professional training programs.
- Prepare all written reports, maintain records, and issue certificates of attendance.
- Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with Agency colleagues and engage in diversity, constructive communication both within and outside of the Agency.
- Assume training responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a Bachelors degree and at least two years of related experience. Masters degree in Human Service Field is preferred.
Experience required includes the following:
- Proven ability to design, develop, research, write curricula, and implement adult- professional training programs.
- Must have content knowledge, presentation skills, and knowledge sufficient to teach effectively on a variety of clinical subject areas, treatment and intervention, childhood development, child and adolescent behavioral disorders, management, supervision and leadership issues, and crisis and de-escalation techniques. Knowledge of OMH and OCFS Waiver preferred.
- Computer skills include PowerPoint, use of a virtual classroom, and various data management systems preferred.
- Teaching/training or public speaking experience required.
- Mental health and child welfare experience is preferred.
- Must have valid drivers license, vehicle available, and be able to travel as required.

Job Summary | The Assistant Director (AD) of Student Activities is responsible for planning, facilitating and assisting in the coordination of student club programs on campus. The incumbent will develop programs working with clubs and other campus departments focusing on diversity and inclusion, community involvement/engagement, student leadership and operations as an advocate for student clubs. The AD will work with the staff to develop opportunities for servant leadership growth and development. The AD will work in collaboration with Union/Mueller Center staff, campus colleagues, and student clubs to oversee the operation of the Clubhouse Pub under the guidance of the Director and Associate Director of Student Activities. The AD manages fiscal planning and reconciliation of student activities fees associated with club events and other programs and will assist with club operations and other services required to facilitate a student activities program. |

Job Summary | The Research Accountant will provide post-award financial analysis and support for research grants / contracts received by Rensselaer.
