Job Summary | The Repairer performs basic repair and maintenance assignments on facilities and equipment using a variety of trades such as, but not limited to, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, painting, and masonry. Also works as a part of a team to complete larger scale renovations. This position participates in on-call rotation for off-hour repairs in academic and residential buildings. **Senior Repairer: Performs both basic and complex repairs and maintenance on facilities and equipment; fabricates and reworks parts for obsolete equipment; works on larger scale projects. |

This includes showing proficiency in a variety of trade skills, such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs. You should also have a track record of effectively planning and executing maintenance projects, collaborating with team members, and taking initiative to troubleshoot and resolve challenging issues. Additionally, showcasing leadership capabilities, a commitment to continuous improvement, and exceptional communication skills are essential to succeed at the Senior level. Your experience should reflect a deep understanding of your field, along with the capacity to mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Also requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience. Job Summary | The Senior Prospect Research Analyst conducts in-depth data analysis and research, evaluates and summarizes financial information, and prepares reports and briefings for principal and major gift officers and senior leadership. The Analyst identifies high-level prospects and donors, creates detailed dossiers, and directs division-wide staff to maintain accurate, up-to-date records. Additionally, the analyst takes part in strategy development plans related to key prospects. Job Summary | The Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute invites applications for a faculty position in Game Development to begin Fall 2024, to teach courses in game design, development, and production. Appointment will be at the rank of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Professor of Practice, with a multi-year, renewable contract. |
Minimum Qualifications | Applicants must possess an MFA, PhD, or foreign equivalent in Game Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Evidence of effective teaching, and the ability to demonstrate, through accomplishment, promise of academic, scholarly and/or research achievement. They will demonstrate proficiency in one or more game engines, along with a robust background in project management and production processes within the gaming industry. Additionally, candidates must exhibit a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. For appointment at the rank of Senior Lecturer, candidates must also have attained a significant level of scholarly activity, research output, or individual creative practice. A Professor of Practice has obtained unique professional experience, has distinguished research, and/or has performed at an executive or officer level, and has made a significant impact within the field of games. A Professor of Practice is expected to have substantial leadership experience of at least (10-15 years) and generally a national or international reputation for excellence in their field of expertise. Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered. |

Job Summary | Endowed Constellation Faculty in Future Chips at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute We are especially interested in candidates who have a demonstrated ability to perform high impact research in semiconductor technology to address the next generation challenges in computing. This position plays a pivotal role in advancing fundraising endeavors at Union College by engaging in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors capable of making significant financial contributions ranging from $20,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 to bolster the institution's mission and strategic objectives.

Relationship Management: Proactively establishes opportunities for face-to-face interactions to cultivate, solicit, and steward a designated portfolio of 100-150 current and prospective donors, adhering to industry best practices. Develops detailed cultivation and solicitation plans annually for the top 25-50 donor prospects, incorporating opportunities for current use pledges and planned giving to drive philanthropic engagement. Nurtures enduring relationships with major donors by delivering exceptional stewardship and personalized engagement experiences.
Knowledge of Union: Cultivates a comprehensive understanding of Union’s history, academic, extracurricular, and athletic programs, along with familiarity with faculty, students, and administration. Maintains a deep awareness of the College’s priorities and initiatives, translating them into fundraising opportunities, while staying informed about trends and developments in higher education as an industry.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborates closely with campus stakeholders to ensure synergy with fundraising priorities, fostering a cohesive approach toward advancing the College's overarching mission. Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of two years of major gifts fundraising experience is required.

Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $93,000 to $97,000. The Department of Psychology at Union College, Schenectady, New York, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor specializing in Neuroscience. Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $81,500 to $83,500. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
