General Summary:
The IT Systems Administrator I (Linux Systems) is responsible for administering, maintaining, monitoring, securing, backing up, and optimizing the Company's IT systems and infrastructure. The IT Systems Administrator I will participate in the configuration of IT systems through project-based initiatives and resolve escalated operational issues related to supported systems in at least one area of specialization: Microsoft Systems, Linux Systems, or Infrastructure/Platform Systems.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist in problem resolution of assigned IT systems.
• Collaborate with other IT personnel on project-based initiatives to upgrade or enhance the performance of IT systems.
• Configuration and administration of assigned IT systems.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of assigned IT systems.
• Secure assigned IT systems.
• Ensure assigned IT systems are kept in compliance with company standards.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend solutions to IT systems or processes.
• Upgrade and maintain assigned IT systems, including server operating systems, various software applications, and the supporting platforms and infrastructure.
• Facilitate the Company's IT standards and interoperability with other systems by engaging with other technical staff and departments to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
• Develop tools and training to support operational staff.
• Write documentation for assigned IT systems and supporting processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of the Company's records and IT systems and processes.
• Participate in after-hours and on-call support on a rotational basis.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Intermediate level of knowledge and direct working experience in at least one of the following areas of specialization:
• Microsoft Server operating systems, Active Directory and supporting services (DNS, DHCP, IIS, etc.), Office365/Azure/Entra ID, MSSQL, and client/server applications.
• Linux Server operating systems (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, etc.), open-source systems including Postfix and Dovecot, system automation platforms (Rundeck, Ansible, etc.), common database applications such as MySQL, back-end development (PHP, Perl, Golang, Python, etc.), and RESTful API design principles and methods.
• VMware (vCenter, ESXI, etc.), server hardware, iSCSI SAN technologies, datacenter and office networking, and firewalls
• Intermediate knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, including IP Routing and Ethernet Switching.
• Intermediate Knowledge of backup solutions and techniques.
• Knowledge of Company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Company products and services.
• Ability to dissect and solve problems and make sound judgment calls.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues.

Education and/or Experience:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and 1 year of experience in IT Systems Administration or related IT job; or 3 years of direct transferrable experience working in IT Systems or related IT job.
• Must have direct experience with systems in area of specialization.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

• Must have or be able to obtain a core certification in a given specialization within one year (Microsoft systems, Linux systems, Virtualization platforms, etc.). Certification status is expected to be maintained.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, and maintain a valid South Dakota driver's license, have an excellent driving record and be insurable under the Company's insurance policy.

Other Qualifications and/or Credentials:

• Knowledge of the ITL 4 framework is preferred.
• Knowledge of the NIST cybersecurity framework is preferred.

General Summary:
Provides support to the Service Delivery team in overseeing all aspects of service delivery projects. This position is responsible for interacting with project teams to ensure all activities in a project life cycle are conducted and executed on time. Will assist in the development of comprehensive plans and the management of customer and vendor relations. Must communicate with resources to accomplish project tasks and maintain project schedules. Maintains service delivery project records, invoices, materials used, etc. Prepares correspondence, tracks projects, and provides necessary follow-up. Establishes and preserves the filing and paperwork involved in service delivery projects.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintains a CRM database to track all aspects of service delivery projects, including customer correspondence, contract obligations, materials used, and other required documents.
• Prepares plans, specifications, contracts and amendments, reports, and general correspondence to document the various requirements of projects.
• Serves as the single point of contact for assigned projects, with the responsibility for various aspects of the development and implementation of projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders affected by assigned projects.
• Facilitates and troubleshoots problems associated with coordination, development, and design of projects.
• Audit records in various OSS software to ensure proper provisioning and billing of services.
• Assists in the management and monitoring of the e-rate connectivity programs.
• Handles quotes, service order entry and service delivery functions for the business sales channel.
• Define and document procedures by agreed methodology.
• Support the maintenance and entry of billing and project records, including feedback for process improvements.
• Create, distribute, and track correspondence within the Service Delivery Department.
• Advise and assist project team members in the application of project procedures and recording and reporting standards.
• Coordination of add/move/change requests including timely and accurate ordering and activation of service requests by the Company’s business sales channels.
• Communicates with customers in providing quotes and service delivery functions for the Company’s connectivity products.
• Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the project teams.

General Summary:

As an essential part of the Human Resources team, this role focuses on enhancing HR programs' overall efficiency and effectiveness while emphasizing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The Human Resources Generalist is crucial in handling the end-to-end payroll cycle and its related components. This position actively contributes to supporting the Human Resources Department in companywide policy and process implementation, training, and development initiatives, and ensuring strict compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Position responsibilities are carried out at a professional and administrative level, requiring a high standard of confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist the Director of Human Resources in partnering with employees and Management to implement and communicate Company and employment policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
• Provide guidance, training, and backup support to other members of the HR team.
• Oversee the complete payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee timesheets, wages, commissions, benefits, deductions, and reports while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Provides backup support to additional internal company payroll processing.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and external contacts with payroll-related inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
• Complete and oversee the timely and accurate deposit of taxes and other withholdings, keeping current with changing regulations.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date payroll records, including employee data, pay rates, benefit elections, and other deductions.
• Work closely with other HR team members to support broader HR initiatives and ensure seamless HR and payroll functions.
• Process draft registers and reconcile accounts related to Company benefits.

• Provide advanced knowledge and guidance to employees on the Company's benefits and assist employees with enrollment and inquiries.
• Process and monitor Workers' Compensation claims, FMLA, and other Leaves of Absence with continual communication with the employee and Management.
• Responsible for all new hire reporting and verification as state and federal law requires.
• Assist with the administration of the HRIS system, performance management system, and applicant tracking system.
• Update and maintain employee files, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve the department's efficiency and services performed.

• Assists with projects that require collecting and analyzing data, maintaining records and databases, and preparing various human resources-related reports.
• Assists with large projects such as open enrollment, position descriptions, performance management programs, and other projects as requested.
• Responsible for interviewing external candidates and providing recommendations to the Director of Human Resources.
• Maintains and updates various Excel and other daily, monthly, or annual worksheets.

Bachelor's degree in human resources, accounting, or equivalent combination of education and progressive Human Resources experience. Minimum of three years of experience in a Human Resources or payroll position. FPC, CPP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP designation preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Must have, or be able to obtain, and maintain a valid South Dakota driver's license, have an excellent driving record, and be insurable under the Company's policy carrier.

Must be willing to obtain Human Resource and/or Payroll certification within two years of employment.
