POSITION OFFERED: Coordinator of Testing Center & Assistive Technology

EMPLOYMENT DATE: ASAP TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:

Renewable, Full-Time, 12-Months

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Coordinator of Testing Center and Assistive Technology will provide services through the Baker Center for Learning, encompassing the proctoring of accommodations testing, make-up tests, and community members’ proctoring needs. The Coordinator will also provide assistive technology support, training, and provision of this technology for students with disabilities.

This position is within the Professional Administrators Union. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Human Services, Information Technology, or a closely related field; two years’ experience in postsecondary education in an office/program area that provides direct service to students.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree, especially in a related field; four years’ experience in postsecondary education in an office/program area that provides direct service to students; one-year supervisory experience and/or completion of a recognized leadership program;  two years’ experience in postsecondary education in an office/program area that provides direct service primarily to students with disabilities.

EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE:  $58,458.40-$77,466  Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
