Building Maintenance Mechanic:  The Town of Wilna Housing Authority is searching for an experienced professional to perform maintenance, repair, remodeling, and construction at our Housing Authority. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:       

(A)       Three years of experience in general building construction, maintenance or repair in one or more of the standard trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, etc.; OR

(B)       Six years of experience assisting in general building construction, maintenance or repair in one or more of the standard trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, etc.; OR

(C)       An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:  Appointees will be required to possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State.

Starting wage is $24/per hour. Excellent fringe benefits including NYS retirement and health insurance at no cost to the employee.  EOE
