Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team and sell our commercial, industrial & municipal HVAC, plumbing, fire protection system & wastewater products and systems.  The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background in the commercial, industrial & municipal equipment industry and have a proven track record of sales success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in Central Pennsylvania. (State College, Altoona, Johnstown, Williamsport, etc.)
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Understand and articulate the technical features and benefits of our products to customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to promote our products and services.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities. 
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve knowledge and skills, for both the companies and yourself.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-10 years of experience in equipment sales industry.
  • Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree not required.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems & wastewater products and related technologies.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
