Arbor Housing and Development offers services directed towards the community and helps empower individuals to live within their means in communities of their choice. With the organization developing and needs within the community expanding, we are looking for qualified candidates to fill these positions. Arbor Housing and Development is implementing a CORE Services program where Behavior Health Specialists are needed. CORE Behavior Health Specialists focus both on family support and training, as well as psychosocial rehabilitation. While some positions may require a day shift need, other positions such as our Mental Health Residential Assistants require a need for both evening and overnight shifts. Arbor Housing and Development is also looking for a qualified individual for our DV Advocate Position which requires an evening shift availability. Our DV Advocate positions aids in advocating for, encouraging, guiding, and assisting residents in developing daily living skills and habits as they are striving towards recovery and independence.  

Our rental assistant program strives to create pathways to security, stability, and independence for individuals within the community. We currently are looking for qualified candidates for our HCV Certification Specialist position. An HCV Certification Specialist will aid in completing calculations to determine housing assistance payments and tenants share of rent, as well as maintaining correspondence and case records. Working closely with our HCV Certification Specialists, we are also looking for a Housing Quality Standards Inspector who will schedule and conduct annual inspections per regulations and policy. With the recent expanding of programs, we are looking for an Accounting Specialist who will assist with processing bi-weekly payroll, as well as maintaining payroll records and files. To ensure safety is being met across our different properties, we are also looking for a Property Management Maintenance Assistant. This individual will be responsible for maintaining facilities by performing minor repairs and processing work orders from tenants and staff.   

A Qualified Candidate must have at minimum, a Highschool diploma/GED, possess a valid driver’s license, and be willing to submit to background clearance checks.Some positions may require additional education requirements or certifications. Successful candidate(s) will be expected to be a highly motivated, well organized empathetic individual with the ability to perform repetitive, routine duties, including but not limited to basic computer software, regularly lift, move, carry, push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift, move, carry push or pull up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodations).
