Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

A Registered Nurse who, under the direction of the nursing leadership is responsible for planning, directing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care for a specific unit during her/his shift.

• Receives report from previous shift, making sure that he/she has received all pertinent information on each resident.
• Continuously evaluates behavior, symptoms, reactions and progress of residents and discusses findings with Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.

• Administers and documents all medications according to established policies and procedures, physician's orders and Department of Health regulations.
• Performs all treatments according to physician’s specific order and established policies and procedures.
• Discusses the need to discontinue or change a medication of treatment with the Nurse Manager/ Charge Nurse.
• Orders prescribed medications, notifies pharmacy of discontinued medications: and ensures accuracy of medications and dosages when received from pharmacy.

Salary: $54.36 to $63.28 Hourly

• Current NY State Registered Nurse License

Education:

• Associate Degree

• BSN Preferred

Under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN, performs various resident care activities and related non-professional duties for the specific needs and comfort of the aged and those that need our help.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans.
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments.

• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor.
• Promote quality services within company, state and federal regulations.

Job Type:Part Time

Salary: $21.8357 per hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provides personal care and rehabilitative services and assists in activities of daily living as directed by the Director of Clinical Services or the supervising Registered Nurse.
• Participates in the development and implementation of a realistic goal-oriented plan of care.
• Provides nutritional support by preparing grocery lists and meals, assisting with feeding and fluid intake, keeping record of nutritional intake.
• Assists clients in administering medication.

• Assists with personal care functions including grooming, bathing, toileting, dressing wounds, taking simple vital sign measurements and recording.
• Helping clients exercise, move around the house and transfer them when required.
• Accompanies clients to medical appointments.
• Assists in socialization and recreation activities.
• Helps with personal housekeeping duties.

Hourly Rate: $17.8890
