Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Implements administrative goals and policies and interprets objectives of Nursing Services to the nurses on the units.
• Assist in ensuring appropriate staffing is met during shift.

• Rounds the nursing units daily to ascertain the condition and needs of the residents and informs Director of Nursing of all changes and related problems.
• Observes nursing care of the residents to ensure that orders are carried out as directed and treatment is administered in accordance with physician's instructions.
• Assists with orientating newly employed nurses and clinical placement of nursing students.
• Arranges hospital transfer of residents.
• May render nursing care, administer medication and perform treatments.

• Assists in planning, developing, organizing and implementing departmental goals and objectives.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels are met for each unit by coordinating with Staffing Coordinator
• Exhibits creativity and initiative in pursuing organizational and departmental growth and development.

Job Type: Part-Time

Salary: $61.98 per hour

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Current NY State Registered Nurse License
• 1 year supervisory experience

Education:

• Associate Degree required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Provides professional and administrative support to ensure full office management, appropriate scheduling. Oversees and completes all tasks to ensure the administrative functions are effectively represented.

• Coordinates clerical functions such as keeping track of invoices, directs the processing and distribution of internal and external mail as well as coordinating departmental events.
• Coordinates meetings, calls or arranges conference calls.

• Facilitates communication within departments and among other departments/program site locations.
• Oversees check request submissions and coordinates purchasing, invoicing, and accounts payable functions.
• Manage Time Keeping and Payroll functions for program.
• Coordinates credentialing process for temporary staff.

Job Type: Part Time

Salary: $28.2051 per hour

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in office administration required

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
