- Participates in the assessment of learning/resources needs and the subsequent establishment of directional goals for the institution and its various departments which are compatible with its service, teaching, and research objectives.
- Responds to the educational and health care needs of the staff, residents and community which its serves.
- Develops an overall teaching program which is consistent with the stated mission. Serves as Chairperson of Committee for Orientation Revision.
- Provides direction and leadership in the development of objectives for implementation of the philosophy and objectives of the departmental teaching program.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing comprehensive primary care, coordination of 24-hour care, medical coverage, and directly provides services to ArchCare participants.
- Provides face-to-face comprehensive History and Physical assessments on new referrals. Prepares face-to-face Quarterly or as needed History and Physical assessments on established participants.
- Provides evaluation and treatment of participants with acute illnesses.
- Participates in the development and revision of the participant's plan of care as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Integrates the primary care treatment plan into the plan of care developed by the interdisciplinary team. Interacts with other team members to meet emergent and acute needs of participants. Participates in discharge planning.
- Documents changes in the participant's condition and details care provided by completing all required documentation.
- Collaborates with nurse, nurse practitioner and other physicians to ensure comprehensive and continuous care.
- Assists in monitoring the medical care of enrolled members who are hospitalized in out-of-network and out-of-service area facilities and assists in their transfer to in-network facilities when medically appropriate.
- Keeps confidentiality of participant records, reports and discussions
- Attends and participates in scheduled staff meetings and participant care meetings as requested.
- Maintains applicable licensure and certification and pursues professional growth through continuing education process.

Salary: $250,000 - 260,000 + 35K sign on bonus

- 1 year of post graduate experience in Internal or Family Medicine
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
