Scarborough Land Trust is hiring a Development Director

The Scarborough Land Trust is a highly respected, nonprofit organization focused on conserving land for its natural, scenic, historic and agricultural value. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as our first Development Director. This individual will lead and grow the Land Trust’s fundraising efforts to support land acquisition, stewardship, and community engagement.

The successful candidate will be experienced with various aspects of fundraising, be detail-oriented, self-directed and dedicated to the Land Trust’s mission. The Development Director is responsible for creating and executing a long-term fundraising and associated communications plans to advance the organization’s strategic goals, including annual giving, major gifts, foundation grants, corporate support, planned giving, and special events.

The position is salaried and offers competitive benefits and amazing team dynamics. Scarborough Land Trust works under a hybrid model of office and remote work.
