Shop Floor Coordinator
Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Shop Floor Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks on the shop floor, including picking, packaging, and shipping parts. You will also assist with keeping inventory stocked, organizing the shop, and providing general help to the office and shop floor staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, package, and prepare parts for shipping.
- Assist in receiving and organizing incoming parts and inventory.
- Help maintain accurate inventory levels by restocking and tracking parts as needed.
- Assist with organizing the shop floor to ensure a clean and efficient workspace.
- Work closely with the office staff and other shop floor personnel in day-to-day operations.
- Provide assistance with maintenance tasks when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, shop floor, or similar environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects when required.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently when needed.
