ARS, a Tecta America Company is based in Sioux Falls, SD and our core team has been serving the area for over 35 years.  We specialize in commercial flat roofing, sheet metal, wall panels and standing seam roof systems.  We are a close knit, supportive crew and we are in need of an Estimator/Project Manager.

Job Description

The Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for estimating and bidding projects with a complete and comprehensive review of project plans and specifications.  The basic function of this position is to effectively coordinate administrative efforts with the field production efforts. 

Operationally, the Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for strategic planning and reviewing each project daily as well as implementing production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.

Specific to managing projects, the Estimator/PM will be responsible for:

• Coordinating with general contractors, vendors, suppliers and customers to ensure the projects are completed from start to finish in a timely and efficient manner.
• Preparing production needs, by verifying estimates, reviewing project drawings and specifications
• Identifying process improvements and resolving problems on each project as they arise
• Understanding of commercial roofing practices, codes and regulations to avoid legal challenges; enforcing regulations and recommending new procedures

Job Requirements

• General construction knowledge/commercial roofing experience a plus
• Strong estimating and sales skills; knowledge of EDGE software helpful
• Knowledge of roof manufacturers' system requirements and assemblies preferred
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required
