We are looking for a highly motivated, responsible dog lover to be a leader within our Day Care Pack at Camp Holiday Barn. The Day Care Coordinator ensures that operations at Camp Holiday Barn are successfully maintained and integrated into the service goals of all other departments at Holiday Barn, ensuring the health, safety and happiness of our day care guests. The Day Care Coordinator is a hands-on employee within Camp Holiday Barn and the entire resort. The Day Care Coordinator works in both supervisory and hands on roles with the Day Care Manager and Day Care Associates at Camp Holiday Barn to ensure the health, safety and happiness of day care guests.
Day Care Coordinator requirements include:
- Supervisory experience – 1-2 years experience leading a team
- Pet care experience in a professional pet care environment

Some Responsibilities
• Help train and supervise staff to maximize our level of service to guests
• This is a hands-on position and you will be required to perform the same tasks as staff as needed, including but not limited to cleaning, feeding, administiring medications, play times.
• Communicate any pet care issues or opportunities to the pet care manager and/or the facility manager - you should be the eyes and ears of the facility.
• Assist Pet Care Manager and/or Facility Manager with developing and/or implementing ideas to improve resort operations.
• Coordinate staff needs with the pet care department and among other teams as business trends require,
• Provide support to other teams, such as grooming, customer experience or day care as needed
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to staff regarding work performance and deliver realistic expectations and appraisal of work performance.
• Act as a "Pack" leader and communicate effectively with the staff.
• Handle customer issues and opportunities in professional manner.
• Open and/or close the facility as required by the facility manager.
• Thorough understanding of all facility operations to keep facility running efficiently and safely for our guests and employees.

Candidates for this position must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk frequently, and the ability to lift pets up to 30lbs. We represent Holiday Barn through telephone conversations, face-to-face, on tours, and even at pet related events. Customer Experience Associates are an intuitive part of our “pack” and work within our company’s values and brand experience.

- A person who thrives on interacting with people and their pets
- Basic pet knowledge – we don’t expect you to be an expert, but some pet experience is beneficial.
- 1 - 3 years years of experience in the customer service field is preferred. Candidates with prior experience will be given priority.
- Flexibility – we are a resort business; candidates must be available to work weekends and major holidays.
- Ability to use Microsoft applications
- Strong communication skills
