Project Manager Job Description
Minimum 4-year Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, architecture or engineering or equivalent technical training and or experience.
Knowledge of the following:
Estimating (Primavera - Sage 300, computerized estimating including digitizer)
Prepare Budgets as required for Construction Management projects.
Bid Solicitation (contact subcontractors and suppliers for bids)
Purchasing (negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, write contracts and purchase orders)
Shop Drawing review, approval and required submissions to the Architect
Project Design and drafting (on a limited basis for Design/Build work)
Project Scheduling (CPM method w/ Suretrak Project Manager)
Accounts Receivable (Job Invoicing) including preparation of a Schedule of Value for each job and preparation of monthly draws (AIA forms G702 and G703).
Miscellaneous Accounting (year end Cost to Complete analysis, verifying Accounts Receivable, etc.)
Provide job cost codes for accounts payable (subcontractors, suppliers, misc. invoices)
Attend Job Meetings including the preparation of job meeting minutes.
Complete all Project close out documents (as-built drawings, warranties, O&M manuals, etc.)

SCHEDULING SOFTWARE: Premavira
SPREADSHEET SOFTWARE: Microsoft Office Excel
WORD PROCESSING SOFTWARE: Microsoft Office Word
DRAFTING SOFTWARE: AutoCad LT 2012
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: AIA Electronic Documents (in conjunction with the secretary)
BID SOLICITATION SOFTWARE: Bidfax (software operated by the secretary)
EMAIL: Microsoft Outlook Express
