Position: Civil Paralegal
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and file legal documents for civil litigation matters
- Assist attorneys with case management, scheduling, and court filings
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case materials
- Coordinate communication with clients, courts, and external parties
- Manage deadlines and maintain organized case files using Caret Legal
- Support attorneys in trial preparation and settlement negotiations
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a paralegal in civil litigation or related legal field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with legal software (Caret Legal experience a plus)
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
