The finest Custom Framing Studio on the Peninsula is looking for your help!
We are seeking a new employee to join our team of professionals and wondering if you are our person? We work with some of the highest quality artwork and are in search of someone who has the experience to handle it. We’re looking for someone who ideally has the following, however, we are willing to train the right person =
- Can easily read a tape measure (very simple, but very important)
- Upholds a professional demeanor while at work
- Has an artistic background, interest in art, familar with arwork of all types, mediums ~ *a creative individual would be a huge bonus!*
- Pays EXCELLENT attention to detail, 1/16” is a big difference in our line of work!
- Has the ability/desire to design custom frames/mats on the spot with customers/great customer service skills
- Knows how to properly handle/treat/store artwork of all varieties and values
- Experience with power tools
- Can lift 50lbs
- Stability on the Monterey Bay Peninsula indicative of a permanent position with reliable transportation and a valid California Drivers' License
- Reliable with consistent work history and solid references
- Experience with finish carpentry, building cabinets, custom framework
- Is timely, comes prepared to work on time, and holds the utmost integrity
The right candidate will show the willingness to learn and participate wherever they can.
Most of the time spent in this position will be in our custom frame shop fitting and finishing. If you have a background in finish carpentry, or any minor woodworking, please let us know!
