Immediate Job Opening - Radio and Video Production Assistant
Position Summary
The Radio and Video Production Assistant supports the daily creation, editing, and distribution of broadcast and digital content for both radio and video platforms. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all produced materials — including commercials, promos, news packages, and online content — meet the organization’s technical and creative standards.
Radio Production Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recording, editing, and mixing radio commercials, promos, liners, and imaging.
- Work with on-air talent and sales staff to produce client advertisements that align with station branding and standards.
- Support live and pre-recorded programming by running the board, monitoring audio levels, and cueing content.
- Assist in traffic coordination and content uploads for station automation systems.
Video Production Digital / Cross-Platform Tasks
- Support video shoots for station promos, newscasts, interviews, and social-media content in state-of-the-art in-house studios.
- Edit video using Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition and Creative Suite for multi-platform distribution.
- Help publish finished content to websites, OTT channels, and social platforms.
- Collaborate with the promotions and news teams to create visual content consistent with station branding.
- Ensure adherence to copyright, FCC, and station policies.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting, Communications, Media Production, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Basic understanding of broadcast automation systems a plus (WideOrbit).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced media environment.
