As a Residential Construction Superintendent at Ledford Construction & Development, you will be at the forefront of our home building projects, ensuring that each residence is constructed with precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Project Management:
- Oversee and manage the construction of residential homes from foundation to completion.
- Ensure the success of each individual home by overseeing day-to-day construction activities.
- Manage materials and deliveries, ensuring availability and timely delivery to the job site.
- Utilize Buildertrend to manage project schedules, track progress, daily logs, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are executed within specified timelines and budget constraints.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Evaluate leftover material to reduce waste and schedule returns.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, to ensure a coordinated and efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project updates, safety guidelines, and project milestones.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among on-site personnel.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain the highest standards in residential construction.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues affecting the quality of construction.
- Ensure that homes are built to buyer specifications and selections.
- Improve on processes to ensure accountability and provide clear expectations.
- Schedule and Inspections:
- Ensure the success of each individual home by overseeing day-to-day construction activities.

- Schedule and direct team members for work, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Schedule and direct inspections, and reduce and reschedule failed inspections as needed.

- Warranty Management:
- Oversee the warranty process for completed residential projects.
- Address and resolve any warranty-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with clients and subcontractors to ensure warranty obligations are fulfilled.
- Safety Compliance:
- Prioritize and enforce safety protocols specific to residential construction sites.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Client Communication:
- Effectively communicate with clients to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with the construction process.
- Provide supporting information to homeowners in a clear and concise manner that does not add confusion.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to showcase completed residential projects.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
- Identify and troubleshoot on-site issues that may slow down the build process.
- Implement effective solutions to keep construction progress on track.
- Problem Resolution and Communication:
- Resolve problems and disputes that arise during the construction process.
- Communicate schedule conflicts, delivery of materials, and issues with the Director of Operations to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Learn and improve processes to ensure jobs run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to overall project success.
- Blueprint Refinement:
- Work with architects and design teams to refine blueprints for a more repeatable and efficient build process.

Looking for qualified auto body collision technicians (A-tech rating preferred, B+ tech considered). We cover many areas of collision repair such as fiberglass, aluminum, steel and plastic. Painting experience necessary, welding a plus, basic electrical knowledge would be great. Skills can be learned and improved, but a good work ethic is a must!
The potential candidate will perform all functions of a qualified auto body repair technician under minimal supervision. As an Experienced Auto Body Technician, you will meticulously inspect and diagnose any issues and expertly restore damaged car bodies. Throughout the process, you maintain open communication with our team, ensuring accurate estimates are provided to our customers. Adhering closely to the work order, you utilize a range of equipment and tools to carry out the repairs. Your keen attention to detail enables you to flawlessly mix and apply the correct paint color for each vehicle and carefully repair parts in accordance with factory and dealership specifications. You take immense pride in delivering top-quality workmanship and ensuring the utmost customer service and satisfaction!
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently in a busy team environment
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment

- Strong attention to detail
- Computer literate
- I-Car and/or ASE Certification(s) a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bodywork on vehicles and related components.
- Review repair estimates to make sure all damage and parts are listed.
- Analyze the best procedure to repair wreck damage efficiently and properly.
- Work with supplement estimator after tear down to write a complete repair estimate(s).
- Repair damage to OEM requirements to maintain quality.
- Maintain a neat and orderly working area.
- Proper use and care of all Company tools.
- Communicate to the manager parts that are needed for repairs.
- Inspect repairs to ensure they are properly completed.
- Complete paperwork as required in a neat and professional manner.
- Clean the repair area, tools and instruments and return them to their proper location.
- All employees are required as part of employment to once weekly break down cardboard and take it to the recycling bin. Also once weekly help condense shop trash and take it to the dumpster. Each Tech will help move cars out in the morning and back in at night.
Your Hours and Wages:
This auto repair position is full-time and typically works 8:30am to 5pm, Monday - Friday.
The salary for a autobody shop technician may depend on factors such as education, certification, and experience.
