Westmont Presbyterian Church, a 340 member church located on Luzerne Street in Johnstown, Pa is seeking an experienced and responsible Administrative Assistant for the church office and Pastor. Candidates should be supportive of the mission of the church. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Publisher and be able to learn new software programs specific to church operations. Candidates must have excellent general office skills, organizational abilities and good phone etiquette skills. Successful candidates must also possess excellent written & verbal communication skills, be a team player and present a professional demeanor to the congregation and public. Candidates should also possess the ability to multi-task and work independently. A minimum of three years experience as an Administrative Asssistant is required. This is a salaried position with a competitive hourly rate based on 32.5 hours per week; M-F and selected fringe benefits.
