JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides coordination and support for Baker Center for Learning (BCL) services promoting access and academic success for students with disabilities. Acts as one of the College's designated contacts for determination of appropriate academic adjustments and auxiliary aids and services for students with disabilities. Responsibilities include skilled social justice model interviewing of students; interpretation of psycho-educational, medical, and other disability-related documentation; evaluation of academic adjustment/auxiliary aids and services needs; coordination of appropriate academic adjustments; coaching, and other direct services; training for staff; and program development to address diverse student learning needs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Counseling, Education, Human Services, Social Work; minimum of two years’ experience providing support services to students with disabilities (preferably in higher education); working knowledge of the amended Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the amended Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, and other appropriate laws pertaining to higher education; and ability to determine appropriate disability-related academic adjustments and auxiliary aids and services. One year of supervisory experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Postsecondary Disability Services, Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Counseling, Education, content or related field; four or more years’ experience providing support services to students with disabilities in higher education. Familiarity with the social justice model for accessibility; 3 or more years’ supervisory experience, especially in a higher education setting.

EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE:  $61,480-$92,221  Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides leadership and supervision for all operational aspects of the library’s service desk, course reserves, electronic reserves, interlibrary loan, purchase-on-demand, video-on-demand and document delivery services. Responsible for setting the standard for service desk services in the Baker Commons Library. Plans, coordinates, develops, interprets, and implements policies and procedures for all information delivery services. Coordinates the monitoring of all chat, text, phone, email, and in-person communications that take place at the Service Desk and routes questions to appropriate staff members. Coordinates the delivery of information resources to all distance populations including Concurrent Enrollment, extension center, global, and community members. Participates in the cataloging and processing of physical and electronically received materials. Maintains close communication with faculty to promote library services and identify information resource needs. Compiles statistics and generates reports on the use of the physical collection, interlibrary loan and document delivery services. Utilizes and troubleshoots the variety of software used in the department.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Director of Facilities (DOF) reports to the Vice President of Finance and Administration (VPFA) and is responsible for providing general administration, supervision, and professional direction for College and Affiliated Enterprise facilities and property management functions, including capital planning, space administration, utilities management, facilities maintenance, sustainability, new capital construction and renovations, landscape, and other physical plant maintenance services. The DOF assists the VP in the formulation of campus policies and confidential contract discussions related to property management and capital projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, Construction Management, or related field. Working knowledge of principles and practices of project management. Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management. Knowledge of State, federal, and environmental regulations. Ability to independently coordinate efforts involving several departments. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Demonstrated problem-solving ability, using good judgment, critical decision-making, and strong negotiation skills. Extensive experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and procurement bidding processes, preferably in a public organization. Proven expertise in project management and process re-engineering. Significant experience managing projects, including large projects of up to two years duration.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Career Navigator is a passionate and resourceful advocate for students and actively leads and contributes to further improve graduation, retention rates, and career placement of students and alums at Tompkins Cortland Community College, with a special focus on supporting students participating in the Increasing Tourism Career Pathways initiative through the Appalachian Regional Commission. 

The Career Navigator manages a caseload of students by providing academic, career, and personal support and will work closely with participating regional employers sponsoring the students in this program. The position will support students both on campus and onsite at partner employers, with the majority of time spent in the field.

The Career Navigator will support and advise students through the program and provide guidance for students to continue on a career path in the tourism industry. This position reports to the Director of Workforce Development and Continuing Education and collaborates closely with all members of the Workforce Development Career team, Student Services, as well as members of faculty and Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, and regional employers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree with a background in secondary education, higher education administration, employer relations, direct client support, social work, counseling, or special education is required. A demonstrated sensitivity to understanding the needs and concerns of a diverse student population--including legal system-involved populations, first-generation college students, adult students, and underrepresented populations--is essential to the hired candidate’s success. One to three years of professional experience in a direct support role in advising, coaching, counseling, teaching, or consulting. Excellent oral and written communication and strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to develop interpersonal and organizational relationships. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused, detail-oriented environment. Excellent leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently, determine priorities, and meet multiple deadlines. Willingness to travel regionally.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration, Higher Education Leadership, or related degree program. Demonstrated professional experience in a higher education setting focusing on student success and/or advising. Proven experience leading collaborative efforts between multiple constituencies, including faculty, staff, students, and local community members. Understanding of student career development and employer relations best practices. Knowledge of student information systems, such as Slate and Brightspace, and familiarity with online career platforms such as Handshake.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Director of Auxiliary Operations (DOAR) will be a strategic partner to the Vice President for Finance & Administration. The DOAR will provide operational leadership and administrative oversight of the auxiliary operations of the College, including the TC3 Foundation and its subsidiaries: Coltivare, TC3 Farm, Residence Halls, and the extension centers in Ithaca and Cortland, in support of the mission of the College and success of students. The DOAR is responsible for the operational activities and financial and administrative reporting for all Foundation activities. The DOAR ensures that comprehensive policies, procedures, and controls are in place and maintained. In consultation with the Vice President for Finance & Administration, the DOAR is responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, budget preparation, and annual audit functions for the TC3 Foundation, TC3 Bistro, and TC3 Farm in conjunction with the outside auditing firm.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Dean of Admission and Recruitment is an innovative, collaborative, and experienced enrollment professional with a sincere appreciation for students, their families, and the community college experience. The Dean of Admissions and Recruitment develops and implements recruitment plans, tactics, and strategies to recruit a talented and diverse student body. Operationally, the dean manages the day-to-day functions of the admissions office. As such, the dean hires, supervises, and mentors admissions staff; monitors the budget; develops and tracks the office's KPIs; guides communication flow to prospective students; directs staff travel and recruitment efforts; and oversees the application review process. The dean collaborates extensively with other Enrollment Management areas and the College’s leadership, faculty, staff, and other key internal and external partners.

Strategically, the dean is a senior team member in the enrollment management unit who assists with setting overall enrollment goals, developing a comprehensive recruitment plan, identifying salient trends in the market, and working directly with the College’s faculty and staff to help ensure optimal enrollment across all programs. The primary responsibility of the dean is the execution of an overall admissions strategy that provides the College with a cohesive and centralized admissions operation while meeting the unique recruitment needs of each student and program.

The Dean of Admissions and Recruitment is responsible for creating and maintaining internal and external relationships with multiple college stakeholders to meet established enrollment goals and ensure access to the College. Communications, programs, and services provided to prospective students, students, parents, and other college stakeholders are developed in collaboration with appropriate college personnel and are designed to support student learning and academic success.

This position is within the Professional Administrators Union. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience. Demonstrated ability to increase new student enrollment strategically through innovative and forward-thinking avenues. Ability to build strong relationships and to collaborate as part of a team with individuals, departments, and organizations. Ability to create a unique, high-touch customer service experience that consistently meets or exceeds expectations. Experience developing and implementing a strategic recruitment plan that aligns with articulated goals. Working knowledge of technologies (CRM, social media, workflows, etc.) and use of data analytics in the strategic planning, organizing, and execution efforts to recruit and enroll new students. Collaborative, energetic, and resourceful work style. Enjoys strategic thinking as well as rolling up one’s sleeves. Ability to contribute to a work environment that is welcoming to people from a diverse variety of backgrounds and experiences. A valid driver’s license is required, and maintenance of driving record is required per college driver requirements.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ten or more years of higher education experience in admissions and enrollment, marketing, and databasemanagement. Experience supervising, leading, and motivating staff to achieve established goals and metrics. Ability to attract and retain talent. Demonstrated ability to energize, inspire, develop, and leverage a team to implement the strategic recruitment plan and proactively respond and adjust to a rapidly changing environment.

Acts as one of the College's designated contacts for determination of appropriate academic adjustments and auxiliary aids and services for students with disabilities. Responsibilities include skilled social justice model interviewing of students; interpretation of psycho-educational, medical, and other disability-related documentation; evaluation of academic adjustment/auxiliary aids and services needs; coordination of appropriate academic adjustments, coaching, advising, and other direct services; training for staff; and program development to address diverse student learning needs. May be asked to act as the College’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (504) Compliance Officer.

This position is within the Faculty Association Union. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Counseling, Education, Human Services, Social Work, content or related field, minimum of one years’ experience providing support services to students with disabilities (preferably in higher education); working knowledge of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and amendments, and other appropriate laws pertaining to higher education; and ability to determine appropriate disability-related academic adjustments and auxiliary aids and services.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Postsecondary Disability Services, Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Counseling, Education, content or related field; minimum of two years’ experience providing support services to students with disabilities in higher education. Familiarity with the social justice model for accessibility.

EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE:  $61,480-$92,221  Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Vice President of Enrollment Management is the College’s chief enrollment professional who provides leadership, strategic thinking, and in –depth analysis for the College’s enrollment planning and management.  This person is expected to help reimagine and lead traditional enrollment functions in a modern 21st century context. This work will be driven by the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive and vigorous strategic enrollment management plan.  Leads and manages Admissions, Recruitment, Strategic Marketing, Media and Public Relations, Workforce Development and College Now program.  In addition, this position collaborates closely with the Provost’s Office on the Global Initiatives program to ensure that recruitment strategies maximize student outcomes and advance the goals of the College.

This is a Management Confidential position and reports to the President. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree with at least ten years of progressive responsibility in enrollment and management functions within an educational system. Knowledge of FERPA, TITLE IX and other regulatory guidelines applicable to this area of work.  Experience working closely with Institutional Research and related data assessment and trend analysis. Demonstrated ability to be a collaborative leader.  Ability to perform with a high degree of diplomacy, confidentiality and professionalism. Demonstrated success in supervising multiple components within a complex institution.  A forward-thinking leader with a record of successful recruitment strategies, professional diligence, and creative problem solving.  Ability to work successfully with diverse populations.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree with at least seven years of progressive responsibility in enrollment and management functions within higher education, preferably in a community college setting.

EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE:  $115,000 - $140,000  Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
