Full-Time Behavior Analyst Specialist (BCBA)
Location: Kingston, NY
Salary: $67,000 annually

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Analyst Specialist to join our team in Kingston. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them achieve their fullest potential through effective behavioral strategies.
Behavior Analyst Specialist Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized behavior support plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Provide training and supervision to staff in the effective application of behavior support plans, ensuring consistency in implementation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, healthcare professionals, and family members, to support individuals holistically.
- Maintain thorough documentation and reports in compliance with OPWDD standards.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary, utilizing SCIP-R techniques.
Behavior Analyst Specialist Qualifications:
- National Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) and a Master's degree in behavior analysis, clinical psychology, or a related field approved by OPWDD.
- OPWDD-approved training or experience in functional assessment techniques and behavior support plan development.
- 3-5 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including creating, implementing, and evaluating behavior support plans.
- Experience working with individuals who have dual diagnoses (developmental disabilities and mental health challenges) preferred.
- Certification (or ability to obtain and maintain) in SCIP-R and CPR.
- Valid New York State driver’s license.
