Experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate
Location: Hudson, NY
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Shift: First Shift

Job Overview:
This position plays a crucial role in warehouse operations, focusing on sorting, dismantling, and repacking scrap metals and electronics while utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment. In addition to hands-on work, the role involves inventory tracking, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols. Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience (preferred)
• At least 1 year of forklift operation experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in warehouse systems and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly and work on foot for extended periods
• Basic math skills and familiarity with hand and power tools
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required
• Comfortable working in an industrial setting

Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Inventory:

• Sort, dismantle, and repackage materials as needed
• Receive, weigh, and inspect incoming shipments
• Document and report discrepancies or issues
• Perform data entry in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking
• Assist with preparing shipments and necessary documentation

Forklift Operation:

• Conduct routine pre- and post-use forklift inspections
• Transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas
• Load and unload truck shipments safely at the dock
• Store and retrieve pallets from multi-tiered storage racks
• Organize warehouse inventory efficiently to maximize space
