Job Title: EXPERIENCED Lens Maker
Location: Fishkill, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21/hour

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Lens Maker for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fishkill, NY. The ideal candidate will fabricate optical products, ensuring they meet precise specifications and deadlines. This role requires technical skill, manual dexterity, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. Our client has found that employees with experience as a Jeweler tend to work very well in this role.

Lens Maker Requirements:

• Previous experience (at least 1 year) is required.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet production deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changes and recommend process improvements.
• Physical ability to perform job tasks, including 45% walking, 45% standing, and 10% sitting during work hours.

Lens Maker Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment to fabricate optical products that meet product specifications for final testing and shipment.
• Follow production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Perform all necessary operations, from release to completion, to fabricate products.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure product identification and traceability.
• Adhere to company health, safety, and environmental policies.
