Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Float Supervisor Branch Operations. Primary Function: Engage and develop the Float Universal Associates to provide high quality member service through efficient transaction processing and successful implementation of HVCU Sales and Service Model. Responsible for traveling to fill branch leadership needs across all locations. Provide supervisory and leadership coverage to assist in the growth of the credit union and meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Regularly travel and provide supervisory and leadership coverage for all HVCU branch locations, in the absence of branch leadership.
Assume responsibility for the staff and daily operations of assigned branches (both standard and universal models) including cash/teller operations, ATM, Teller Infinity, branch proof, compliance, and security.
Interview, hire, coach, and develop Float Universal Associates to ensure high-quality service to members through successful implementation of HVCU Sales and Service Model to promote the Credit Union’s full line of products and services.
Create, implement, and monitor employee performance plans. Monitor sales/cascading goals and results and conduct regular milestone meetings. Identify trends and make recommendations to ensure team goals are achieved.

Create an environment of accountability. Set clear expectations, goals and objectives to drive results and provide consistent coaching and development to branch staff.
Ensure staff is well educated on marketing programs and promotions, self-service options, product knowledge and sales techniques. Schedule and oversee employee training and ensures employees complete regular refresher training.
Look for opportunities to enhance revenue, reduce expenses, create efficient processes and improve operations. Submit annual budget recommendations to the AVP Branch Operations.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Embrace and apply HVCU’s guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities. Job Summary:
Marist College seeks applications for the position of Security Officer. The Security Officer is responsible for providing excellent customer service and focuses on safety and security to all members of the Marist community, including parents and guests. The Security Officer is responsible for the security of equipment and real property, remains alert and engaged at all times, demonstrates an understanding and embraces engagement with a diverse population, and is capable of handling crisis situations and making decisions based upon policy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Possess a valid NYS Security Guard Certification, with verification of the 16-hour basic OJT training certification
- Valid Driver’s License with no serious convictions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Essential Functions:
- Patrol assigned area on foot, in assigned motor vehicle, or other specialized vehicle to ensure personal, building, and equipment security
- Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure security
- Uses University keys to open and close buildings
- Monitors closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities
- Inform and warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
- Provide escort services for visitors, students, staff, and faculty, as necessary; provides other public assistance, such as lockout services, jump-starts, and routine information
- Watch for and reports irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations
- Contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel, as required
- Remain alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approaches suspicious persons and/or notifies police as appropriate; may confront and/or detain violators, as required, until police arrive
- Perform periodic checks of emergency call boxes and/or street lights to ensure proper functioning; reports malfunctions as required
- May provide safe and efficient transportation to University employees and/or visitors, as requested, using an institutional vehicle
- Patrol and monitors assigned parking areas to provide public security and enforce infractions utilizing automated ticket system. Maintains security controls for issued keys; safeguards and controls issued University equipment
