ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*CF indicates Critical Function) · Is primarily responsible for all activity, event, resident meeting, and resident trip planning for Independent Living (*CF). This must be approached with vision, flexibility, and determination. · Uses sophistication, cultural demands, intellectual desires of the residents as motivators, invigorating independent perspectives and a need for continued independence among residents. · Organizes and leads all group activities and events (*CF) · Actively manages a program that seeks out volunteers, outside vendors & instructors for different types of programming · Facilitates the development of new programming each quarter of the year. Offerings need to be kept current and in line with resident demands. · Regularly seeks resident suggestions and recommendations using electronic surveys and other means · Promotes & advertises programs via paper notices, displays, media platforms, etc. · Ensures that all compliance requirements and Invited Speaker policy requirements are consistently met (CF*) · Creation and publication of the monthly Independent Living Calendar and Newsletter (*CF) · Conducts monthly Activity & Trip Meetings with resident representatives and interest groups. BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years culinary experience in similar operation.
- Valid Driver’s License and at least 21 years of age, or 20 years of age with at least two years of licensed driving experience.
- Certification in food service sanitation practices and prevention of food borne illnesses preferred.
