Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of AVP Sr Manager of Physical Operations & Security. Primary Function: Responsible for leading the effective management of the Physical Operations and Security department. Responsible for ensuring all facilities are adequately maintained and meet Federal and State safety laws, while maintaining the HVCU brand. Accountable for organizational safety and security programs, budget management, vendor management, and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities

- Responsible for departmental, organizational, and capital expenditure budgets. Monitor expenditures for the Physical Operations and Security Department.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining organizational safety and security procedures and training. Conduct quarterly meetings with all Security Captains. Ensure each location has a Security Captain and is conducting departmental meetings according to procedure.
- Organize and implement fire and active threat drills at all Credit Union facilities. Provide remedial correction when required.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws, including but not limited to New York State ATM safety law, ADA, and OSHA standards.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Ski Manager with meeting specific operational goals, general ski shop procedures, skiing and snowshoeing safety measures. Teach the sport of cross-country skiing in a safe and effective manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain safe and pleasant ski environment for the guests.
- Promote Mohonk Mountain House’s unique cross-country skiing and snowshoeing experience while interacting with guests.
- Properly teach in a safe manner the various techniques of cross-country skiing outside in cold winter conditions.
- Ski up to six miles per day.
- Organize and communicate to Ski Manager all information relating to guest needs and potential skiing and snowshoeing events, conditions, problems, or concerns.

BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To coordinate and implement the recruitment, and entry of employees to the Mohonk Mountain House workforce. To maintain records, provide reports and coordinate and assist managers as needed. - Responsible for the daily operations of the General Services Department, including after-hour calls (24/7) as they arise. POSITION: Mechanic

BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for completing assigned tasks within the Properties Division. This person will maintain, repair and create training checklists and train staff on all motorized vehicles and equipment used by Mohonk Mountain House/Smiley Brothers, Inc. while maintaining a clean, organized, safe work area including storage facilities, shop areas and any assigned work areas.

BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the primary point of contact related to Recreation, Spa and Meal reservations for in-house guests. This staff person will have very high levels of guest contact. In addition to assisting guests with reservations for activities, this staff member will serve as contact point for Mohonk Staff members looking to provide further guest experience enhancements. This person will be responsible for the coordination and maintenance of the Central Stairs information boards related to content and appearance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.
- Use a clear, understandable speaking voice, exercise judgment, respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding hours of outlet operation, directions to local attractions, or meeting rooms, car rentals and airline shuttle service, etc. according to individual needs.
- Learn and retain a current knowledge of all Mohonk Mountain House offerings for food and beverage, recreation, and other services.
- Learn and retain a knowledge of Mohonk Mountain House history, family history, policies and values.
- Demonstrate a current knowledge of the various attractions, activities and events available in Ulster, Dutchess, and Orange Counties. Provide directions.
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of other attractions in the Hudson Valley Region. Provide directions.
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of all mass transportation and rental services available to/from Mohonk Mountain House and the metro areas of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
- Demonstrate a familiarity with the services and floorplans of Stewart, Albany, Westchester, JFK, Laguardia, and Newark airports as well as Port Authority Bus Terminal of NYC, and Grand Central Station. Have a basic understanding of the New York City Subway system.
- Work with external companies to arrange excursions to surrounding area attractions on behalf of the guest.
- Maintain a current knowledge of reputable restaurants, bars, eateries, retail, and other services available in Ulster County.
- Create and consistently maintain a quality work environment that is conducive to "Legendary" service.
- Work in conjunction with the Front Desk staff and other departments to accommodate guest information needs/services.

- Book guest reservations for in-house dining, spa, recreation and other services utilizing various windows based reservations system/point of sale.
- Enter and confirm reservations in the systems with the utmost accuracy and detail to capture all important information. Assist guests with questions regarding their existing reservations.
- Process special requirements and needs for guests through the proper channels so that the requests and needs are met accurately and to the guest’s satisfaction and safety.

- Demonstrate proficiency with Windows-based operating systems and use software including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Resort Suites, Reservation Assistant. NAVIS Applications & Software knowledge a plus.

BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Ski Manager with meeting specific operational goals, general ski shop procedures, skiing and snowshoeing safety measures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain safe and pleasant ski environment for the guests.
- Promote Mohonk Mountain House’s unique cross-country skiing and snowshoeing experience while interacting with guests.
- Organize and communicate to Ski Manager all information relating to guest needs and potential skiing and snowshoeing events, conditions, problems, or concerns.
- Record and coordinate all ski lesson reservations.
- Responsible for all daily office procedures such as answering the phone, filling out conditions reports, assumption of risk forms, rental equipment sheets, utilizing voice-mail system, etc.
- Operate Point of Sale device to record all rental sales, lessons, and merchandise sales.
- Maintain a clean and orderly appearance in the Ski Shop at all times.
- Organize and maintain a useable rental system for the rental of skiing and snowshoeing equipment.
- Interact cordially and professionally with all guests and co-workers.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the ski, skate and activities staff and all other Mohonk Mountain House service staff.
- Perform minor equipment maintenance to cross country ski rental and snowshoe rental equipment such as installing or replacing bindings, riveting repairs and decking repairs to snowshoes.
- Make ski and snowshoe trail recommendations to guests with safety and skier ability being the primary determining factors of each recommendation.
- Inspect trail conditions and make recommendations for usage and maintenance.
- Assist with snow maintenance removal of front and rear entrances of the Ski Shop and snow removal on the Boat Dock.
