Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Construction Superintendents to oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities for our upcoming projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed according to project specifications, on schedule, and safely.
Core Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities, directing field personnel to achieve project goals.
- Maintain the construction schedule, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact project timelines.
- Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary.
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of project plans and specifications.
- Foster positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
- Prepare and supervise the completion of final punch lists.
- Promote job site safety, enforce safe work practices, and rectify hazards immediately.
- Ensure all employees and contractors adhere to company safety policies.
- Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office.
- Document daily site activities, conditions, and logistical movements in Procore.
- Manage accurate documentation of work orders and understand subcontractor scopes of work to minimize change orders.
- Coordinate inspections with Engineers, Architects, and municipalities throughout the project.
- Conduct final walkthroughs with Architects and Owners to develop punch lists.
- Prepare meeting minutes and lead subcontractor job-site meetings.
- Maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules and collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to forecast potential delays.
- Review material status and submittal logs to ensure timely deliveries.
- Operate machinery on site for offloading deliveries safely.

- Problem Solving: Capable of analyzing problems to make timely and effective decisions.
- Construction Knowledge: Proficient in construction documents, plans, and all phases of construction.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledgeable in construction safety processes and able to enforce safety plans effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Maintains a mature and tactful demeanor while working with diverse teams.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of successful experience as a Superintendent.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and construction-related software.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, reliable transportation, and good driving record.

- Exposure to various weather elements is expected.

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for 5 (Five) Seasonal Tellers! This program is a full time (40 hour) opportunity that runs over the summer months (5/16, 6/6, or 6/13 - 9/5). Orientation will take place in Wappingers Falls or Middletown, NY. Pay starts at $20/hr.

Responsibilities
- Accurately complete all types of account transactions requested by members by following organizational processes and procedures. This includes processing negotiable instruments, accurate end-of-day proof and handling large volumes of cash.
- Provide courteous prompt service and proactively identify member needs, recommend solutions to meet needs and refer members to HVCU platform staff, business partners and automated services. Contribute to branch and individual sales and service goals.
- Adhere to branch safety and security practices and procedures. This includes member confidentiality, securely maintaining cash and negotiable items, and physical security standards.
- Maintain a working knowledge of HVCU products, services and systems. Utilize resources to ensure quality member service.
- Support the successful implementation of marketing programs and promotions by creating member awareness and recommend products when the promotion meets the member’s needs.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Embrace and apply HVCU’s guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities. This includes the Credit Union’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, Employee and Member Value Propositions, Sales and Service Model, and commitment to Lean Six Sigma practices. Support the Credit Union’s initiatives by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.
- Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) certificate, or state authorized high school equivalent certificate; or a current high school senior in possession of a certificate of satisfactory academic standing required
- Minimum 6 months Customer service experience in financial institution or retail environment with sales experience experience preferred
