About Us:
We're seeking a meticulous and reliable Bookkeeper to join our finance team and ensure the accuracy of our daily financial operations, playing a vital role in our continued growth and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions (debits/credits) accurately in the general ledger.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing and bill payments.
- Process payroll and benefits administration.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Generate basic financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) for management.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency with accounting software “Quickbooks Desktop”
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Understanding of GAAP/bookkeeping principles.
- Proven understanding of accounting principles and best bookkeeping practices
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong data entry and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for vendor/client interaction.
- High School Diploma/GED; Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Experience working in Accounting and Quickbooks Desktop
- Experience working in a “multiple entity” business atmosphere.
