Experienced Systems/Network Administrator – Managed Service Provider (MSP)

IEQ Technology, Inc. is looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) team. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for multiple clients.
• Manage firewalls, switches, routers, access points, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and security.
• Update or create new certificates CA
• Working in AD and Entra ID
• Cloudshell
• Exchange Online
• Powershell and Terminal scripting expected
• Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and cloud integrations.
• Implement and manage network security best practices, including segmentation, encryption, and access controls.
• Provide remote and on-site support for clients as needed.
• Work with MSP tools (such as NinjaOne, RMM, and ticketing systems) to manage client networks.
• Document network configurations and processes for internal use and client reference.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Systems/Network Administrator or similar role in an MSP or IT environment.
• Expertise in firewall and switch management (Fortinet, Cisco, SonicWall, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, etc.).
• Experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and cloud networking (Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Certifications such as Net+, A+, CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or similar are a plus.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Position Overview:

As a Design Consultant, you will serve as both a creative visionary and a technical expert, guiding homeowners through the entire remodeling process—from concept to completion. This role blends remodeling expertise with client-focused design consultation and sales, ensuring projects are functional, beautiful, and financially viable.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation & Sales
• Engage with potential clients through showroom meetings, home shows, and events.
• Assess client needs, budgets, and design preferences to develop tailored remodeling solutions.
• Present design concepts, estimates, and secure project contracts.
• Develop creative, practical remodeling designs that enhance function and aesthetics.
• Provide architectural guidance, including space planning and structural modifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and trade professionals to assess project feasibility.
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes and sustainability standards.
• Project Oversight & Client Experience
• Work closely with Project Managers to oversee job progress, budget adherence, and quality control.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction phases and resolve design-related issues.
• Facilitate a seamless client experience from initial consultation through project completion and final payment.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in residential remodeling, architectural design, or project consulting
• Preferred: Certifications such as LEED AP, Certified Kitchen Designer, or Certified Aging in Place Specialist
