Job Description:

Weber Educational Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Substitute Teacher to join our team at a campus in the Tyler area. This is an immediate need with flexible scheduling options available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and adapt educational programs to meet the needs of students with varying disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure inclusive and effective instruction.
- Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide support in behavior management and create a positive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, making adjustments to instructional methods as necessary.
- Engage with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and involving them in the educational process.

Qualifications:

- SBOE Certification: Preferred but not required.
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a classroom setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom and effectively address student needs.
- Passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs.
