We are looking for an individual that loves to interact with customers. The job is to I.D. people, pick up glasses, help the servers and bartenders when needed and watch the crowd. Ashworth Road Animal Hospital in West Des Moines is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician (licensed preferred) to join our hard-working and fun work family. We will consider a Veterinary Assistant with at least 2 years of veterinary experience. We are a cat/dog/exotic pet practice and we are certified Cat Friendly. No night hours & no on-call! We have in-house lab, ultrasound, therapy & surgical lasers, and digital radiography. Communication skills and a positive attitude are essential as well as the ability to work in a team-centered environment. The CVT/LVT must be proficient at phlebotomy, anesthetic induction & monitoring, taking general and dental x-rays, and taking patient histories. Growth potential to become a head technician or practice manager for the right candidate.

We are offering $17.00-19.00 per hour plus thousands of dollars in benefits. Work hours are 8a-6p during the week with a day off each week, rotating Saturdays from 8a-12p, and all Sundays off, for a total of 35-40 hours per week.
