POSITION OVERVIEW
School Based Clinician
The School Based Clinician is responsible for providing clinical services to youth and their families according to program and regulatory guidelines, ensuring that all services are strengths-based, individualized, and comprehensive according to need.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clinical services to youth and their families as assigned.
- Participate in the integrated service planning process for all youths enrolled.
- Ensure all service plans are strengths-based, individualized, and comprehensive according to need.
- Monitor the effectiveness of integrated service plans and review.
- Ensure all service are coordinated with other service providers.
- Access supports in the School or in the community as indicated.
- Assist families as needed in accessing assessments and recommendations for psychotropic medication.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a Masters degree, MSW or equivalent.
- Experience, training, or education commensurate with working with children with serious and persistent emotional disturbance is desired.
- Experience with working in a school environment is preferred.
- Must be licensed prior to starting, or have an active limited permit. LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R preferred.
- Required to pass licensing exam within six months of employment if working with a limited permit.
- Drivers license is required.

Dietician – Per Diem
Northern Rivers has an opening for a Per Diem Dietician averaging ten hours a month to assist in guiding our food and nutrition program for residential youth clients.As a Dietician, you will be responsible for the consultation and review of food and nutritional services to provide nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the children residing in our residential housing. You will report to the Director of Food Services and you will work remotely.

Job Summary | Endowed Constellation Faculty in Future Chips at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute We are especially interested in candidates who have a demonstrated ability to perform high impact research in semiconductor technology to address the next generation challenges in computing. Areas of focus are rooted in fundamental science and engineering that drive advances in microelectronics, such as heterogeneous integration, advanced logic, advanced packaging, and power electronics. Physics of materials is also important to making these advances and is, therefore, an area of interest. The ideal candidates are expected to develop an internationally recognized, externally funded, scientific program in chip technology for the future of computing. The Future Chips Constellation will be a key stakeholder in the Center for Materials, Devices, and Integrated Systems (cMDIS) which houses the Microscale and Nanoscale Cleanroom and the Nanoscale Characterization Core. As a Foster Care Home Finder, you will recruit, train, certify, and maintain foster and pre-adoptive foster homes to children from birth through age 21 who have been removed from their homes and placed in foster care. Each foster parent receives training and ongoing professional support to promote a positive, successful experience. You will report to the Foster Care Recruitment Coordinator and you will work on-site
Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in community activities and events to recruit foster parents
- Participate in developing an active recruitment plan for recruiting foster parents
- Handle inquiries and applications from potential foster parents
- Facilitate all orientation meetings with potential foster parents
- Complete all paperwork for the certification process
- Prepare and present NTDC training for potential foster parents
- Assess families’ ability to foster children as it relates to the 14 Characteristics of Successful Parents who Foster or Adopt

Job Summary | The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE in Troy, NY, is amid a planned multi-year renewal of its faculty and mission. As part of this renewal, we seek applications for the Frank and Lillian Gilbreth Endowed Chaired and Tenured Full Professorship in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Rensselaer. As a Greenhouse Coordinator, you will development and implementation of the botanical classroom instructional plans for students. You will report to the Transition Learning Coordinator and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Provide subject area instruction (Green house and plan based botanical) that provides students with appropriate level lessons and age experiences.
- Develop and implement instructional materials to provide individual and small group instruction to students of various ability levels grades 8 -12.
- Provide leadership in the school for promoting green house and gardening activities and experiences for students. Work with teachers to encourage classroom, small group, and individual activities, projects, and events.
- Coordinate the selection, ordering, and management of materials and equipment for the greenhouse and greenhouse related activities in conjunction with the school principal.
- Collect and organize program data for grant proposals and reports and assists in writing grants.
- Assist classroom staff with crisis prevention and intervention techniques; assist classroom staff with de-escalation techniques with appropriate; teach students appropriate behavior strategies.
- Represent the greenhouse and gardens at relevant conferences, community events andnetworking opportunities. Conduct workshops, tastings, classroom activities and garden clubs.
- Manage and coordinate the safety and well-being of students through the use of established classroom and schoolwide processes and procedures; supervise classroom staff in implementing these with their work with students throughout the building.
- Follow school and agency procedures and policies for reporting incidents. This includes behavior incident reports (IR) and incidents such as child/sexual abuse, substance abuse, harassment, bullying, and violence.
- Establish relationships with parents and family members to create a partnership around student treatment, student behavior, and academic progress.
- Participate in classroom grade level, and behavior/treatment meetings as well as professional training and development sessions (e.g. TCI, CPR, emergency procedures and other agency requirements.
- Follow all Agency policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations pertaining to our school and students.
- Facilitate partnership between the greenhouse activities and gardens through home and school education programs by coordinating community workshops, recruiting home garden volunteers.
- Work with other teachers, clinicians, administrators, medical staff and other school staff to provide integrated support, assistance, and treatment to students.
- Assist with supervision of school-to-work program activities as needed.

- Monitor and maintain order in the swimming pool area to prevent accidents
- Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning, administering first aid
- Inspect the swimming facilities at the beginning and end of each shift for cleanliness; monitor and record the chlorine content and pH level of the water
- Provide students with ongoing swimming instruction based on ability level
- Hold students and staff accountable to the rules of the pool area and report any concerns with adherence of these rules to a Residential Supervisor
- Work in other areas of the recreational department during inclement weather
Requirements and Education:
- Requires an Advance Life Saving certificate or equivalent (must be a certified Lifeguard)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience working with children and adolescents and the ability to understand the basics of the therapeutic environment preferred

POSITION OVERVIEW
Lifeguard – Albany or Schenectady, NY
Starting rate is $20 per hour!Ideal seasonal position with flexible schedule from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend. Daytime and early evening hours on weekdays and/or weekends.
As a Lifeguard, you will provide rescue and lifesaving services, teach water safety and swim instruction to children and adolescents in program during the summer months, and help maintain our pools for optimal health and safety. Job Summary | The Sr. Major Gift Officer (MGO) will serve as the Senior Regional Director of Development for the Southwest Region of the United States and will be responsible for developing a regular cadence of strategic opportunities focused on engaging existing and prospective major donors with the end goal of qualifying, soliciting, and closing major gifts. This role will serve as the primary strategist and staff person for the Texas Triangle Executive Council. These stakeholders include but are not limited to Principal Giving, Major Giving, Alumni Relations, and School-/College-affiliated colleagues. Additionally, the Senior Regional Director of Development carries a portfolio of approximately 125 major gift prospects who have the capacity to make gifts in the range of $100,000 - $2.49 million This position will oversee various special projects in the region as assigned by their director. |

Job Summary | The Department of Biological Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for tenure-track/tenured faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor levels. We seek passionate and innovative individuals with demonstrated potential to establish a strong externally funded research program and contribute to the teaching mission of the department. All exceptional candidates will be considered, and we encourage applications from individuals who will bring a unique research approach and skill set to address fundamental problems in neurobiology, cell and developmental, biology, broadly defined. Successful candidates will complement the department research strengths in cellular neuroscience, circadian biology, molecular motors & cytoskeleton dynamics, muscle physiology & disease, neurodegeneration, protein design, folding, structure & functional dynamics, protein misfolding in human disease, microbiology & host-pathogen interactions, biophysics of extreme environments, and freshwater ecology & climate change. The Institute for Data Exploration and Applications (IDEA) enables an opportunity to partner with faculty that are at the forefront of biological data analytics, enabling the modeling and simulation power to advance the quantitative and systems biology approaches that are widely employed in the department. IDEA and the Center for Computational Innovation provide collaborative opportunities to use the fastest supercomputer found at a private university.
