Description
As an Administrative Assistant, you will perform clerical functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and providing information to callers. You will report to the Program Coordinator and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
- Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
- Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
- Maintain program shared electronic calendars (daily)
- Process staff requests for assistance with copying, correspondence, and mailings
- Maintain work relationships with Agency colleagues and engage in constructive communication both within and outside the Agency.
- Have a working knowledge of the program operations and functions.
- Follow Agency policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality in all administrative matters.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary | The School of Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY seeks a candidate with expertise in Architectural Lighting Design at the Assistant Professor level (on tenure-track) or Associate Professor level (with tenure) who will teach Lighting courses as part of the Graduate Lighting, Bachelor of Architecture, and Master of Architecture degree programs. Job Summary | The Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks applications for a tenure-track (or tenured) faculty position at the Associate Professor level in Business Analytics/Supply Chain Management starting Fall 2024. Candidates must have a PhD degree from an accredited university in Analytics, Operations Research, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field, along with demonstrated evidence to produce original and innovative scholarly work with publications in premier business journals. Job Summary | The Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of Quantum Computing, Quantum Information, and Quantum Technology, with focus on the fundamental aspects or applications of quantum computation, scalability, and error correction on current and future quantum computing devices. Research areas can include but not limited to quantum entanglement, decoherence, and noise in quantum networks, with applications to quantum cryptography, quantum encryption, and secure quantum communications in noisy environments. Possible related areas would also include studying and exploiting the fundamental connections between Quantum Monte Carlo and Quantum Computing, simulating quantum field theory and many-body theory with a quantum computer (in particular, simulating systems with a “sign” problem), quantum communication networks, exotic quantum dynamics, quantum sensing protocols, exotic quantum phases of matter, and theory on the nature of information at the quantum level. With the anticipated of arrival of the IBM Quantum System One on our campus, this hire will have access to explore and implement some of these challenging problems. This hire would be part of a bold effort at RPI to strengthen and extend our current faculty cluster in Quantum Information, and would interact with our current faculty on quantum optics and photon entanglement, quantum field-theory, quantum fluctuations in networks, as well as with researchers from Computer Science, ECSE, Future of Computing Institute, and with the future hires of the recently announced Quantum Constellation. The position also represents a response to federal priorities expressed in the National Quantum Initiative Act. Licensed Social Workers are eligible for a $7500 signing bonus!
As a Clinician in the Intensive Aftercare Prevention (IAPP) program, you will provide six to nine months of intensive services to families whose children are either at risk of being removed from their homes or are already in placement. As a Clinician in the Intensive Aftercare Prevention program, you will provide home-based clinical services to children and their families to help preserve or reunite them following Northeast Parent & Child Society's stated purpose and mission of protecting children, preserving families, and strengthen communities. The Intensive Aftercare Prevention Program (IAPP) is a home and community-based program assisting families who have children in foster care or children who are at risk of being placed in foster care. You will report to the Program Coordinator and you will work remotely with travel to client homes required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide home and community-based assessment, planning and treatment with individuals, groups and families with those enrolled in our Family Preservation services (the level of intensity / number of direct services hours per family is dependent upon the services in which one is employed)
- Complete necessary all records and client information following agency, county, and state policy and funding requirements
- Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family court, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and family as it relates to their treatment
- Responsible for the clinical decisions when assigned and paired to work as a team with a Bachelors Clinical Case Manager.
- Ensure provisions of regular treatment plan meetings and services plan reviews.
Requirements and Education:
- Requires a Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field
- Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience.
- License Preferred: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
- Must have a valid drivers license.

As a Clinician for Mobile Crisis, you will be providing crisis risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), crisis stabilization and interventions, de-escalation techniques and follow-up services to the identified client experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric crises. These interventions, provided by telephone and on-site mobile visits, will be implemented using a strength-based, trauma-informed, systems-oriented perspective and will include the development of crisis prevention and safety plans; follow-up to evaluate the effectiveness of plans; coordination of services with existing treatment providers; and linkage to additional community-based therapeutic resources and supports. You will directly report to the Clinical Site Supervisors with Director and Executive Program Director guidance and support. You will work on-site with travel to the community and individuals' homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide rapid response to adults, children, adolescents, and families, who are in crisis, experiencing an emotional or behavioral disturbance by phone and on-site within the community, and as assigned, participate in acute care emergency services rotation system designed to facilitate and strengthen community-based crisis intervention services. This includes rotation of schedule to provide coverage during holidays and weekends.
- Conduct risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), mental status examinations, and substance abuse screening.
- Analyze information to identify action plan, which includes crisis stabilization plan, safety, and crisis prevention plans, and plan for follow-up. Consult with team and supervisors.
- Coordinate with community resources for collateral input and follow-up care, including referrals for mental health treatment and substance abuse assessment and treatment.
- Provide short-term crisis intervention and stabilization services to adults, children, adolescents, and their families in the home or community (wherever the individual is experiencing a crisis).
Schedule/Shifts:
- Fulltime; 5 days a week 3-11pm OR 4 days week, 10 hour shift
- Part time hours also available
- Weekend and holiday expectations
- When scheduled for a weekend shift, your schedule will be 5, 8 hour shifts for that week
Requirements and Education:

As a Clinician, you will provide comprehensive clinical, case planning and family support services to county residents. Clinician, Residential (RTF)

Clinician – Fee for Service
Malta, NY

As a Clinician, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team with the underserved populations in our community by providing clinical counseling to individuals, families and couples in an outpatient mental health clinic licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH). You will report to the Director of the Behavioral Health Center. Sessions may be conducted in the office or via Tele-mental Health as clinically indicated.The pay is $40 - $54 depending on licensure.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of clients aged birth to 65, providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and individual and family therapy services to those assigned to caseload.
- Create initial treatment plans, subsequent treatment plan reviews, progress notes for each scheduled appointment, and other documentation/assessments as indicated.
- Collaborate with on-site prescriber, other medical and mental health providers, schools and any other community supports for client care.
- Attend Behavioral Health Center staff meeting twice a month.
- Attend and participate in Supervision; weekly, bi-weekly or monthly based on licensure level or individual needs.
- Provide referrals and linkages to community supports, resources, and services.
Requirements and Education:
- Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counselor.
- Experience in human services, case management, line staff at a residential program, or any other related direct care within human services, both pre and post master degree, will be considered.
