
Phonathon Student Caller
Union’s Phonathon is looking to hire current Union students! The Phonathon student caller program is the student outreach initiative for Union College. Student employees will be responsible for conversing with and soliciting Union alumni, parents, and friends for donations through various communication methods. You will spend time talking on the phone with prospective donors, raising support for the college, and connecting yourself to the vast network that Union’s alumni have to offer.Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, Part-time

Position Summary:
The Phonathon student caller program is the student outreach initiative for Union College. Student employees will be responsible for conversing with and soliciting Union alumni, parents, and friends for donations through various communication methods. You will spend time talking on the phone with prospective donors, raising support for the college, and connecting yourself to the vast network that Union’s alumni have to offer.
Each student is required to work at least two shifts per week with afternoon shifts available Monday-Thursday. There will be opportunities for evening shifts when special giving day initiatives occur.

Compensation:
The rate for this position is $13.00 an hour. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
