We are seeking an entry level Environmental Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality environmental consulting services that align with our commitment to safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical document preparation.
• Prepare technical reports including Phase I and II ESA reports, and draft permits.
• Ability to work within the established project budget.
• Provide staff management .
• Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and prepare comprehensive Phase I ESA reports. Tasks include conducting environmental database searches, historical record reviews, owner interviews, and site reconnaissance activities.
• Clearly communicate the findings of Phase I ESAs and possibly recommend further investigation or action, as needed.
• Ability to work independently.
• Implement Phase II investigations, designed by senior staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/ArcGIS is a plus
• Team Player

Qualifications

• An Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in a science or engineering discipline.
• Experience with GIS and ArcGIS software
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Proficient in data analysis
• Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations (EPA & NYSDEC)
• Familiarity with public health principles is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independantly
• Strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
