Job Summary | The Sr. Prospect Management Analyst applies their strong data, business intelligence and prospect research skills to coach fundraising staff to be able to maximize their productivity. Representative Job Duties | Some of the duties for this position include: Lead regular meetings with individual fundraisers to review prospect data, identify opportunities to advance cultivation, assess performance on overall goals, and progress within individual prospect portfolios. Guide individual fundraisers and development staff by providing recommendations for potential major donors for cultivation and solicitation. Analyze data to help drive prospect discovery and prioritize the top prospective donors for qualification by development staff. Create lists on an ad-hoc basis as requested by prospect development team members or fundraising partner to support fundraising initiatives by incorporating the use of database segmentation analysis, external resources, electronic screenings, and peer-review/focus group results. Utilize business intelligence tools to assess and enhance the composition of fundraisers' portfolios. Analyze fundraiser portfolio activity to evaluate the success of outreach strategy. Conduct in-depth data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in prospect management. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making processes and refine prospecting strategies. Assist in the maintenance of fundraiser portfolios and discovery pools, including through the use of batch upload tools. Educate frontline fundraisers in applying analytics toward achieving their individual goals. |

Job Summary | The Sr. Business Manager reports to the Vice President of Information Services and Technology, and Chief Information Officer. Job Summary | The Economic and Industry Analyst will analyze and make recommendations for progress of the sustainable fashion industry, from farms and new materials to processing to brands and design, in New York State and in general (in the U.S. and worldwide). The Analyst will review and keep abreast of pertinent studies and research, and will seek information from industry data sources, carry out interviews and surveys, and analyze and interpret the information. The work is based at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as part of the Fashion Innovation Center (FIC). The Analyst will interact with FIC members and participants to learn about the industry, discuss sustainable fashion industry problems and potential solutions, consider ways to advance the industry in New York State, and document relevant information and findings in report, paper, and/or book form. The Analyst will also provide suggestions where relevant to innovative project participants in the FIC’s accelerator. The Analyst will work closely with the Center Director and other FIC members. |

Job Summary | The Director of Real Estate directs all activities associated with land management/leases; real estate revenue activities; building and land acquisition/sales; building and land appraisals; all Rensselaer property-related tax payments; Rensselaer tax exemption requirements; and special activities, that include leases and subleases of external facilities, fraternity/sorority land/building leases and finances; estate activities and community issues. The Director is responsible for leading real estate and economic development programs to attract diverse and innovative partners to engage on properties owned by the Institution both residential and commercial, inclusive of properties at Rensselaer Technology Park (RTP). This will comprise extensive collaboration with multiple portfolios including the Office of Strategic Alliances and Translation (OSAT), Provost, Student Life, OCEC, and Finance. The Director is responsible to develop programs to attract and maintain tenant occupants of RTP and create a self-funded real estate program. Programs that cultivate community and regional relationships and foster an exchange of ideas between community leaders, industry partners, researchers and students. The Director is responsible for all fiscal management of the RTP and real estate program including operating and capital budget development and financial controls to achieve goals. |

Director of Advancement Information Services
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular full-time. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Supervisor: Vice President for College Relations
Position Purpose:Plays a pivotal role within the College Relations department, responsible for overseeing the efficient utilization and maintenance of the constituent management system. Provides leadership in system implementations, conversions, and upgrades, ensuring seamless operations to support fundraising and engagement efforts. Leads a team dedicated to data governance and advancement services, contributing to the strategic alignment and success of College Relations (CR).
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Reporting and Analytics: Designs and implements a robust structure for data analytics, dashboards, and reporting. Facilitates informed decision-making. Ensures data integrity while identifying donor trends. Collaborates with the Director of Operations on prospect management metrics. Facilitates accurate and timely completion of external surveys.
- Software Management and Innovation: Serves as the steward of the division’s customer relationship management system (CRM), overseeing its effective utilization. Serves as the project manager for the anticipated CRM migration starting in fiscal year 2024-2025. Develops comprehensive training materials, workshops, and documentation to empower divisional staff in maximizing the CRM's capabilities and fostering innovation in advancement practices.
- Data Governance and Compliance: Ensures strict adherence to fundraising regulations, policies, and best practices to uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of constituent data. Manages gift, pledge, and receipt processes in compliance with internal revenue service, financial accounting standards regulations, payment card industry security council, the council for advancement and support of education guidelines, and auditors' requirements.
- Strategic Alignment: Acts as the primary liaison for College Relations with Finance and Information Technology Services (ITS) to foster collaboration and ensure strategic alignment. Including working closely with Finance on aligning financial reporting periods, fund reconciliations, review of gift processes and controls, and auditing schedules, and working with ITS to ensure CR systems operate effectively and met all data security requirements and ensure
- Staff Management: Promotes a culture of excellence, teamwork, and collaboration among staff, providing clear direction, setting priorities, and fostering a supportive environment for professional growth. Establishes and monitors well-defined, measurable goals for each team member, offering guidance, support, and professional development resources to enhance their effectiveness and achieve organizational objectives.
- Budgeting: Prepares a fiscal year budget in partnership with the Office of the VP for College Relations. Reviews and approves expenditures, consulting with Finance and other authorities as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in higher education advancement, with a strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices, or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. An Advanced degree in information management, data science, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in system administration, networking, relational databases, programming, and documentation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Preferred expertise with Ellucian by Colleague and Salesforce technology, preferably including experience with CRM migration projects.
- Exceptional leadership, judgment, and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to introduce and drive innovation in ways large and small through effective project management.
- Able to foster and enhance a thriving, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community, while promoting a sense of belonging among students, alumni, faculty, and staff colleagues.

Compensation
The annual salary range this position is $100,000 - $115,000. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Job Description:
Information Technology Services (ITS) at the University at Albany seeks applicants for a Central Business Office Associate, who is responsible for coordinating/processing several operational activities in the ITS department. The Central Business Office (CBO) serves as the hub for all ITS finance and operations. The CBO Associate is an essential member of the team and interacts with multiple departments across the university, including Accounting, Asset Management, Facilities, Human Resources, and Purchasing. The successful candidate enjoys a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and getting out of the office to visit various locations on campus for equipment deliveries and receiving/disposal of assets. This entry-level position provides excellent opportunities for professional growth.
The successful candidate is extremely organized, has an eagerness to learn, and a strong attention to detail, with the ability to point out errors or inconsistencies in data. They are encouraged to think about process improvements, leveraging the various tools available. They will conduct their work with a high degree of integrity and a customer service mindset. The CBO Associate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to forge collaborative relationships. They are equally comfortable working with limited supervision or with a team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Software Licensing:
- Review and respond to software license requests from faculty/staff/students.
- Distribute licenses in accordance with University and ITS policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of software purchases, activation codes, distribution/assignment of software licenses, and chargebacks to departments.
Billing:
- Process monthly billing for ITS activities and track receipt of payments.
- Investigate any discrepancies in revenue.
Asset Management:
- Work collaboratively across ITS to ensure accurate asset management needs and processes are fulfilled in a timely matter.
- Ensure all purchases have the appropriate Asset Management forms/tags when received and disposed of.
- Record accurate information in the Asset Management database, including the addition and removal of assets.
Additional/Other Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with staff from ITS and other departments on campus to facilitate transactions for all Central Business Office activities.
- Serve as a backup for coverage of reception area.
- Perform all operations in compliance with SUNY and New York State financial / procurement policies.
- Handle confidential information and matters in a professional manner.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Be available to provide scheduled support and consultation outside normal business hours, including occasional evenings, holidays, or weekends, within reasonable professional obligation and expectation.
- Lift/handle equipment, up to 50 lbs., on occasion
- Various operational duties, as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- An associate degree at time of hire from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education (DOE) or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, with ability to identify errors in tracking sheets, etc.
- Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of relevant professional experience.

Professional Rank and Salary Range: Staff Assistant, SL2; $50,000-55,000.

Job Summary | The Program Administrator, Sr manages activities of the Center of Excellence in Digital Game Development at RPI, also known as the Digital Gaming Hub, administered through the Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. The Program Administrator, Sr is responsible for supervision and management of tasks related to the Hub’s mission, including community management, outreach, events planning and execution, assessment and reporting, and program development.
